Power Rangers RPM - "Heroes Among Us" Talk Up!

People who just pop onto the message board to check out the poll results with out bothering to read much further (I was one of them a few months back) might glance at that and just assume that RPM's second half is creatively tanking, just like all the other seasons, blah, blah, blah.

That's how all the "Judd Lynn is destroying RPM!" rumors get started.

Why should any persons opinion of an episode hinge on the a poll thread made on a message board? Power Animals has even said the poll is for pointing out who's an idiot.

Jeez, it was just a joke. I'll have a mod officially change my vote when the episode premieres.

I was only kidding...

My bad. I didn't understand.

I think I just saw that giant bar graph score of 100% for '1' and my heart sank because I'm hoping for good things.

Sorry.

I actually have more respect for Scott than before.

-Gem and Gemma is awesome now. Who knew?

-Mason being a badass again = Win.

-I love how they used to the same set up from Go-Onger with the Manhole Banki.

- More Dillon flashbacks? Can't you do that in your own focus episode?...****.

10/10: GO-ON

Well this was a very quality episode to me.

-I find Gem less annoying (not like he was that annoying to me anyway but still) when he's being his own character and not twin-speaking with Gemma. He had a very over-the-top reaction to getting the medel but then again, he's Gem, he's got the mind of an 8 year old. If you were a kid with a shiny new object what would you think? I did like how he came after Scott in Torip...er, I mean, his zord and tried to make him feel better.

-Oh K. "Finding a needle in a hay barn." "Don't you mean haystack?" "No, Ranger Green. Finding a needle in a haystack would be easy."

Is it any wonder why K and Ziggy are my favorite characters?

-So is Truman kicking Grinder butt with the other soldiers going to be a weekly thing now? Cause I want to see it all the time. You know what, I'm gonna take a page from JFD'd from RB's book and call him MASON EFFIN TRUMAN!

-Oh there were so many small things that made this episode worthwhile. First was Crunch tossing in a bunch of random stuff to create Venjix in Detaramedes form. It makes sense too given his crazy monster designs as we saw recently. Secondly, the part that had Scott actually consider leaving the old man to the Grinders just to find Venjix. Does that even happen in Sentai? I mean, I know that offering other members as sacrifices to the bad guys for one reason or another happens but never with random civilians. But...the one most important thing that made the episode?

SABER STRAIGHT: GO-ON RENDEZVOUS! Or at least the Scott and Gem version of it. I let out a big ol' "YEEEESSSS!" when that happened.

-Hybrids. Someone here brought up the possibility of fighting other humans with Venjix tech in them but I was sure that it was just something that was a cool fantasy. If it actually happens I will be very impressed.

-Hey I just realized that the soldiers actually hit and destroyed some Grinders this time instead of having Stormtrooper aim!

Best. Episode. Ever.

I'm starting to like Gem this time. Hopefully, he will continue that way!

Only one negative is.... the pointless pathetic megazord battle. -_-

4 out of 5.
