Power Rangers Operation Overdrive - "Weather or Not" Talk up!

I haven't seen the complete episode YET as I'm missing about 3-5 minutes from my recording so I'll be waiting to vote on this episode until I have seen the complete thing. That being said, my thoughts:

-for those concerned, they did finally change the credits to 'Boukenger' I believe at the end.
-Also for the concerned regarding Natsuki's pose not working well, you're half right, it doesn't doesn't work as it was originally done, so it's now been modified slightly and they barely show the poses before cutting away.
-Speaking of Ronnie, she doesn't quite match up to Natsuki's gestures YET. In the ravine when they're talking while waiting on Mack, Nat flashes a peace sign which doesn't quite jibe with Ronnie's personality. Although I do like Ronnie's earlier analogy of blowing out all four tires.
-By the way Will, that was WAY over-reacting to the 'music' you're listening to.
-Anybody else expecting a Dax looses his marbles scene and remark as SOON as he and they appeared?
-Spencer is now officially >> Makino with the disguise gags. I hope they bring him back for what Geki gets turned into as the big stuffed cat, he can do it no problem.
-Mack vs. Satoru, eh toss-up. Satoru wasn't as irritating as Mack is but Satoru wasn't that interesting either. Good point, bad point.
-On Good vs. Bad, Moltar < Ryu, who has a better more evil sounding voice. On the other hand Flurious > Gayja so it evens out.
-Seeing them in action reminds me of how stupid the shovel and pick looked not only in Overdrive but in Boukenger too.
-"Maximum Pentration" to "Drivermax Megazord, Drill mode!", the latter sadly is lacking in comedy.

My only REALLY big gripe about this episode was the government basically transports sub-ATOMIC energy generators alone, unguarded and across what looks like a field of some sort. Yeah, okay.

Other then that, I haven't seen anything I well and truly dislike yet.

Uhhh... Wave Goodbye Mark II. Lame.

Not great, not the best ep.

Dax needs to shut the "frag" up and die. Will is just ok, I guess.. Ronny's little bit improve so far. Mack sucks. I would call him Conner Mark II.

The Hovertek cycle part was ok.

And Spencer > All!

I'm giving this episode 5 out of 10. Felt like this episode being rushed, but fair episode.

I liked this episode overall I liked how Mack got some focus he is becoming my fav Bruce era Red Ranger. Dax is growing on me. Will I like the most. Ronny has yet to impress me. Next week Rose will get some focus and i'm glad. Overdrive is impressing me so far I hope it keeps up. 8/10

6/10

Will needs to back off and stop becoming another "Nick Russel."

Dax, zip it.

Mack.....gimme time. Ditto to Ronny.

Rose focus next week. Spencer ownz and someone kill the yeti!

It below average in terms of the first 5 episodes so far but it's a "TAD" better than Mystic Force and SPD namely because they were "direct" translations for the most part. Mystic Force's pacing was just slow as a snails while SPD's had some....so-so plots.

-If I were Caribbean, I'd be kind of offended by Spencer's getup. No, I'm not serious, but it DID look kind of... funky.

-Hey, the fight with Moltor is pretty nice. No overused explosions of anything.

-"Don't be so hard on yourself--that's why there's five of us." Ignoring the glaring grammar error there, it seems kind of weird coming from Will. Then again, maybe it makes perfect sense, considering HE was the one who saved that guy.

-Maybe it's just me, but when Mack was doubting himself, I SO expected Hartford to say something along the lines of, "yeah, you suck ass," and take his morpher.

-"Oh, man, we're stuck" -- No, way, Will, you're so smart.

-Damn, Moltor commands SO much more fear than Flurious. They really need to use him more.

-Building on what I said earlier, I was really expecting Andrew to be like, "Okay, cool" when Mack quit.

Overall, nothing too special. Just the obligatory "red ranger has issues" ep, only this time, it's the fifth and not the third. So I give it a 6/10.

I was taken a bit back by Mack's sudden urge to quit. I mean, it's not like he messed up that bad, but ah well.

I love spencer, his disguises are so stupid they're funny. I think Dax acts a bit too zanny for me. In fact a lot of the cast has a problem with just overacting with the body gestures. But I'm not acting expert so what I know.

It's hard to rate this episode because it was ok but I didnt feel anything for it at the end. The action was great and I loved the foot battles. It was just pretty much an "ok" episode. This season seems to have less excitement than normal

I wasn't particularly happy with it, but at least it wasn't the mess that this show has been so far. The whole Mack thing was a bit out of the blue, so I didn't really buy it, but those twenty minutes passed without making me throw anything at the screen.

Helped that there was a lot of battle, so no corny lines flying over my head and that most of the battle was from Boukenger, which meant far less explosions and slow-mo.

You know what would be cool in a future episode? That they go to Angel Grove looking for one of these clues! That'd be an awesome nod to the old days.

Something tells me they would just **** up that concept even if they tried.

Oh, I just remembered something. Where exactly was that truck delivering the "energy generator" to anyway? Moltor attacked the truck driving defenseless through the GRASS. I mean, wtf. They couldnt shoot a scene on a real road? I just found that so... sloppy. That a truck is randomly driving through the grass and moltor happens to cut him off there.

Though I guess anyone could easily make up an excuse that the truck was derailed or detoured to that location by a set up from Moltor. But then why do that? Why not just attack wherever the truck is.
