About Dax, I hate him too. It's mostly because the actor just makes him so goofy. Tone it down, Dax. Just tone it down. Be your own character. Just because this is Power Rangers doesn't mean you have to act like a total idiot.

When he walks into the room it's like he enters "be like Bridge" mode and says "hey everyone look at me, aren't I wacky? Look at my head and eyes bob around like Im just in my own little wurld dur. Hey hey! yeah! fun!"

He's just not a character I particularly like because he doesn't feel "natural". You know, I loved the NS and SPD cast so much because their characters felt so natural, with each other and by themselves. They stood out because they were not only different but believable. They were "real" in a way. Sure there was a thousand and one "dudes" but the NS team had a remarkable chemistry together and on their own. I could believe that they just acted like that. With PR:OO, everything the cast does feels forced and unnatural. I know, somebody here wont understand what Im saying. Im not going to turn this one opinion into a discussion.

I thought Dax' best moments where in 'Heart of Blue'. He felt a bit more natural...since then they've had him be wackier and wackier :/

Well, the concept of Dax might be based off a few stunties, I dont know if that's how the actor is trying to portray him as though. I just wish Dax would tone it down a little bit. That maybe what they're telling him to do though. I mean, he does have them onset after all to consult with if he's or they are concerned.

Dax is realistic and is someone you could meet in real life. Guranteed he'd be exceedingly weird and all but it is possible to encounter someone like him.

You are exactly right and I've said the exact same thing in the past. These actors have directors on the set who could be telling them what they want. Or, the director could just be saying "do whatever", letting the actor do whatever, and accepting it as they go. Which is shameful because I wish the directors would try to coach the acting a little more, get a little better performances (not just dramatic performances but a more natural and less kiddy demeanor)

This is all a nit pick, to me. The actors can do whatever they want, but I still hate Dax.

This episode was average. Didn't break new ground and minimal plot advancement but it entertained me for 30 mins so well done. Take a bow, PROO.

- 27 bathrooms? When did Mack become Ritchie Rich?
- Transtek Armour...points for effort, I'll give it that.
- These battle royale fights between villain factions and Rangers, while they were a welcome change at first, are starting to grow a bit stale for me. I'd like to see an awesome 1-on-1 battle, like Mack's battle with Moltor in ep 1.
- They need to insert a bit more urgency, plot-wise. 10 episodes out of a possible 32? 35? down, and all the Rangers have done are get 1 Crown Jewel and the clue to another. That's not such a great record.:eyebrow:
- Seriously...the monsters are pansies and the grunts are more awesome.

On the plus side...
- It's always great to see more original footage. Honestly, I cannot tell which is original and which is stock footage anymore.
- No Mecha battle.

Me neither. It used to be very easy to tell, even if you hadnt seen sentai. I could easily point out "ah that's sentai, that's american". There are tricks to tell but they've gotten very good at blending in the footage.

Im happy there was no Zord battle this episode. The robo battles sucked in Bouken anyways so it's not like we're missing anything.
