Power Rangers Lost Galaxy Season 7: Round 7

That was the last season I really made an effort to watch. I'm still trying to remember the one where the wrong Megazord came.

I remember watching the first few LG and laughing my ass off that they tried to put something as ridiculous as Gingaman's stories and setting into a space-aged tale. PR was also hitting a really uncreative time in that they were just rewriting the Gingaman scripts, it seemed (Time Force did the same with Timeranger, but I'll get into that more when the Time Force poll comes around).

If you asked me six years ago, I'd say any show was better than Gingaman. But now that sentai has gotten so damned terrible, Gingaman looks like Bioman, so I'll defend it now. :laugh:

Terra Venture? Resurrection and destruction of the Megaship? Death of Scorpious and the rise of Trakeena? Aliens Episode? Trips to Onyx? Return of the Psychos? Return of Karone? Fall of Kendrix? Betrayal of Villamax? Fall of Terra Venture, two Megazords and the final showdown with Trakeena?

I don't want to be the guy who just takes the opposite stance for the purpose of defending what he likes, but this is Power Rangers at its absolute most creative. The sheer amount of PR Universe elements used in one series was just awesome to me.

I honestly don't know about Gingaman, but for PR, this was one of the most serious seasons its had and with a good amount of death to boot. Trakeena taking down Villamax was just... pretty much unheard of!

Most uncreative?

I'm just going by the first several or so episodes I saw. Since I'm not a PR fan, I just watch about several episodes in to see how they handled the sentai. Some titles I'll watch some scattered episodes throughout, but LG wasn't one of those titles (I actually enjoyed Time Force enough to stick around for a majority of it -- it was in reruns and was pulled before I saw all of it, though -- and channels aren't fond of playing anything pre-NS, so I'd actually like TF to hit DVD or something).

But the several LG episodes I saw were pretty direct rips of their Gingaman counterparts -- from using the same exact shot for Mike falling into the pits of hell to the episode with Kendrix filling in on a movie for a bitchy girl who looks just like her (funny that they never realized, being on little Terra Venture!) to Blue falling for the girl who he thinks is getting married, to the entire Magna Defender plot -- all just uncreative rewrites of Gingaman scripts. I don't how much LG might have changed, if they did, but I was judging by what I saw.

Ah, I see.

Guess I didnt mind as much or at all, since I never saw Gingaman. All the above stuff tho was the real meat of the series and all original PR stuff, as far as I know.

Pretty incredible and ambitious for Power Rangers, no doubt.

I decided to vote for "Meh, it was alright", because Lost Galaxy wasn't bad but it was nothing to get excited into.

I've never seen Gingaman at all, but I'd like to check it out sometime. Apparently Gingaman is the rarest Sentai series of them all on EBay. When a DVD Set containing all episodes of Gingaman (I believe it was a bootleg) was sold, the price was about £70 - ish. Pretty Pricey!!

Danny`s acting was way off sometimes and others way on. This is a well referenced series because of Kai and Maya gaining small followings since leaving the show and what happened to Vallerie. Not to mention this is the only show to be give a backstage pass via Access Hollywood. To me when it came out there was nothing better than seeing the beautiful stunt work and the epic stories. But Mike sucked.

Personally, I love Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. Everything was awesome in that series. Another serious. Excellent story about Magna Defender. All Rangers were good. Good to see Karone. That was Karone's dream came true to become a Power Ranger. I remember back in Space, Andros and Karone... their dream to be a Power Ranger. Andros did execpt Karone. Karone has became Astromena. Karone was the greatest Pink Ranger along with Kendrix.

All villains were excellent. Very serious.

The team up was wonderful.

The finale was damn dark. Wowowowowowow. I loved that finale. Amazing to see Terra Ventura got attacked by Trakeena.

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy... A+ but it's not on my first top place.
