Doubtful. They never re-use cast.

Casting should be under way or will be this summer at least. Casting is finalized by September at the latest because that's usually when the photo-shoots/Training are done.

Filming usually starts in October as well.

I dont think we would know who the cast for RPM is until late in the year.

I don't know where you heard that, but it's highly unlikely. As for the cast, I'm not even sure if auditions have started yet.

Apparently, R.P.M. will probably stand for something non racing related as even though R.P.M. is racing inspired, they're supposedly wanting to move away from the racing theme.

They'll probably want to make it more 'serious' too :redface2:

They should say 'AH SCREW IT! Let's have some fun!" and embrace the campiness and sillyness of it all. Get the talking mechas, the silly antics, the goofy-but-dangerous villains (the BankiJyu are silly looking enough, it'd be hard to take them seriously even with menacing voices) and just go crazy with racing references.

It always feels like such a waste when Power Rangers doesn't exploit the themes of the suits and props to their fullests...

Well no... Jan is not the kind of silly humor you can sell in the US. Its a cultural thing.

But I do think someone energetic like Sosuke would work well. A real go getter who's not affraid of standing up to evil and has fun in every thing he does! Someone with a beaming positive attitude!

But still...Power Rangers writers seem to take things both very seriously and half-heartedly. They should try to enjoy their work more. They get to send people in bright colored costume flying and monkeying around!!!

I agree. It's the number one reason why Doug Sloan's Turbo was a failure of epic proportions, and Judd Lynn's was massive success.

Judd embraced the cheese, and the show was better because of it.

I gotta agree. I liked the second half of the show more than the first half.

I sort of agree. They cant write a good dramatic story so maybe they should just try old fashioned comedy. One thing I love about Ninja Storm and SPD is they both have good humor and I always laugh.
