Post Civil War Talkback - *SPOILERS*

one of the things I loved about CW arguments is how logical they were on both sides, now everyones spouting "SKRULL, CLONE, COSMIC BEING, CONSPIRICY! SOMETHING BAD HAPPENING" anything to return to the old status qou. well ok somehting bad is gonna happen, and obviously it's gonna come from Norman Osborn. but like Reed said crime in the M.U. is at an all time low and that right there is a good thing. I'm just a tad worried about J.M.S. the C.W. ends and IMMEDIATLY Aunt May gets shot thats a little much, As far as I'm converned (Yes just my opinion) Peters life is enterly a mess of his own making right now.... but it feels forced for the purpose of "Back in Black" which would NOT be happening were the film not coming out this year.

Oh and I have to totally disagree with Fayt on one thing. The officers takling Cap didn't feel fake at all and it was the realistic way to get the truth into caps head. Even if it was a little too simliar to the firefighters who risked thier lives to save the Autobots during the DW G1 revival that restored Optimus faith that the autobots were doing the right thing and that humans were worth fighting for.

And I want to go on record that while I loved C.W. I HATE Mark Millars writting. and Bendis haters just need to shove a sock in it. without him and Bryan singer MArvel would be a VERY diffrent company right now.... and not in a good way.

Could you point out to me something good Bendis has done that doesn't have the word Ultimate in the title or deal with a non-mainstream hero?

I don't know...maybe it was just the length of the issue or the fact that the final battle seemed to wind up too fast for me that it felt forced. Maybe if it'd been like, a double sized issue and if the fight had dragged on longer, I'd feel different...

Funny thing...Trev pointing out the whole Skrull angle reminds me of a bogus post somebody made at Wiki about the whole Civil War being a front for a massive invasion of Earth called Skrullocaust.

It does sound like it was a pretty quick wrap-up. And kind of implausible...as someone else put it, why take the massive fight to the middle of NYC?
