Post Civil War Talkback - *SPOILERS*

ok, I guess it's my turn to make myself a villian and say what i've been meaning to say to EVERYONE who's been folliwng the Civil War saga unfold, and if you think less of me, im sorry...

THIS IS NOT HOW SUPERHEROES ARE SUPOST TO FUCKING BE!

Superheroes are supost to be larger then life.
Superheroes are supost to be there for everyone.
Superheroes sacrifice themselves for the better good and the better future.
Superheroes fight to make the wrongs in this world right.
Superheroes are FUCKING HEROES.

Thats what it all is at the end. Ignoring consequences, ignoring that the next to you is a prick and realizing that the better of the world is in stake, knowing that people can walk outside in a future where they feel safe, not threaten.

Not making lines in the sand over whats right and wrong. I'm not suprised during all this mess, The Kree or the Skrulls or a group of villians or a new villian would of said "oh LOL! they are aguing amonst themselves! let's go attack earth or attack everyone and finaly get a win!".

All this was to marvel was to get people to talk about their comics since they got their asses handed back to them after DC did Infinite Crisis. Unlike Crisis, where the battlelines where blatenly there and we knew who was good and evil, here, I dont know who's who anymore. Everyone exept Spider-Man and the X-Men are dead to me now in the Marvel Universe and I for one feel alienated at everythint that lead up, happend during and is now the fall-out. Everyone is still bickering, everyone dosent stop arugeing and people are forgeting what a True hero is.

you all make me sick.

you heard me.

you all make me sick.

you all where brought into this disgusting idea of degloryfing superheroes and making them monsters. Never in my life have I seen such things happen in comics or anywhere in general and now I feel alianed, I feel unconfrotable, I feel repulsed, I feel scared! I AM FUCKING SCARED NOW! im fucking scared of everyone now who I open my god damn mouth at about comics, because the first words that will come out of their mouths will be this. And then argueing happends and ****, nothing gets resolved, everyone still acts like an asshole to eachother and for what? FOR WHAT!? ANSWER ME THAT YOU FUCKING PRICKS! WHAT IS IT THAT YOUR WHERE WITH TONY OR STEVE!? DOES IT FUCKING MATER? WELL? DOES IT?

IT FUCKING DOSENT!

because they are not heroes anymore. They dont fight crime, they dont fight for justice, they dont do ****! they just want to go at it and prove who's right and who's wrong.

Thats why I will site with DC Comics, thats why i'll site with the Super Sentai Heroes, Thats why i'll site with the Kamen Riders... they would never stoop to such a disgusting low. If this happend to ANY of them, they'd find somesort of resolution for the better, never for the worst.

If you all want to see an Example of how a real superhero story should be, pick up Kingdom Come and then come back to me with a counterargument about witch one was better. A story about heroes fighting eachother, or a story about realizing what it means to be a hero, at be it, at a heafty price and much bloodshed.

Dude.... your pills.

WHATDAYA MEAN MY PILLS! IM AS CHILL AS EVER! I FINISH TRIMING 6 BANZAI TREES MUTHAFUCKER! I JUST GOT DONE LISSENING TO 3 KENNY G. CDS! AND I LOVE KENNY G! AND AFTER THAT! IM GOING TO DO SOME YOGA! YOU WANT ME TO GIVE YOU SOME YOGA FIRE?! I THOUGHT SO!
:anime:

yeah, I know I went kinda overboard, but I was just upset at a few things in comics that I wassnt too keen on. Dosent help that i am beeing dragged to a trip I dont want to do this weekend and im lacking sleep...

...

myabe I should take some pills, should i? :P

LOL

Ramses=EMO :laugh:

But yeah. Though I enjoy Civil War series, I hope everything turned back as it was. Just doesn't feel right seeing Iron Man (my fav hero) and Venom in the same team. WTF?

Earth X is a poor mans kingdom come.... this ain't A.U. this is how the map is better get used to navigating it.

well i enjoyed the series immensely despite the heated arguments that take place, i personally felt that the stanford incident mirrored 9/11, the entire country backed the government only for it to be divided, nothing's gonna be retconned for a while marvel has a massive money cow and the effects of civil war are probably gonna be major

hell, the aftermaths of infinite crisis are still being felt now, and it's practically been a year....................stupid 52, so hard to keep up

but the thing that struck me the most about civil war was the hypocrisy demonstrated by tony stark when he tried to recruit the x-men towards his cause, emma frost made a lot of good points, where were they when mutants needed them?

glad to see spiderman back in the black costume, now if only that symbiote would go back to eddie

issnt Eddie eating threw a tube as of late due to constant expouser to the Symbiote?

BTW, never say never about comics. We still need also to see this World War Hulk saga play out, if anything it may lead to even more shake-ups and i'm pretty sure next year, they will pull another Avengers Disasembled or House of M saga and thus, we're back at where things where before. Im sure at the end of next year, Captain America and Iron man will be drinking a few Buds and fighting off bad guys together again and we'll all be one big happy family once it does. For now, I let my fealings out, now im just going to take this as a grain of salt and look foward to a better future.

If I heard right it was because he ghad cancer, the symbiote was keeping it at bay until he decided to give it up

Wikipedia has this to say about Eddie's resent life:

Clone of the symbiote
An alien race secretly operating within the United States government clones the Venom symbiote. Venom absorbs the clone, gaining its knowledge, and he decides to carry out the aliens' orders. Before he does, however, Brock learns that he has cancer and will die if he does not permanently bond with the symbiote. The Symbiote rejects Brock, not desiring to be bonded with his diseased body any longer. Ultimately, Spider-Man tricks the symbiote into permanently merging with Brock.

Separation
Following the revelation of his cancer, Brock had a religious awakening and decided against permanently merging with the symbiote. Brock instead chose to sell the symbiote to crimelord, Don Fortunato, intending to donate the $100 million received to charity before dying. Angelo Fortunato, the Don's son, became the second Venom for a brief period of time. However, Angelo proved to be a weak host for the Symbiote, being humiliated in a battle with Spider-Man. The symbiote abandoned Angelo mid-leap, and the subsequent fall killed Fortunato. Upon hearing that Angelo had died due to the symbiote, Brock slit his wrists in an alley and was seen waiting to die. However, he was found before his death and survived the suicide attempt. Eddie is currently recovering in a hospital. When Peter Parker unmasked himself publicly as Spider-Man, Eddie was among the many who watched the revelation.
