PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4: On Stranger Tides in 2011

[Japaneseseriesfan]

Haters gonna hate. I loved all three POTC movies. I am looking forward to seeing the 4th.

I guess this is the one time we see things straight.

Next Friday, the captain is back! Anyone excited for this?

[MMPR]

Loved the first 2, hated the third. Excited for the fourth, hopefully they go back to th fun action/adventure. Jack Sparrow is indeed badass

Who's seeing it today?

JUST came back from it! I don't give a damn what "Top Critics" say, THIS is the start of the new journey for Captain Jack Sparrow! And oh my, I liked Phillip and Syrena's scenes.

[Bolt]

Going to see it tonight. Absolutely detested the two Pirates sequels, but this one looks to be devoid of all the horrible plot devices and filmmaking effects that made the latter part of the series so terrible. Can never get enough pirates.

Hey Bolt, if you like the movie or not, make sure to check the book On Stranger Tides by Tim Powers (What the film is based on). It's a fun read for pirate fans.

I loved all three of the POTC movies, and I am pretty sure I will love this one.

i do not like pirates of the caribbean, but i really like captain jack sparrow. when i heard on stranger tides would not have orlando bloom or kiera knightly, the reasons i was not crazy about the last 3 installments, i was pleased to hear and gave the film the benefit of the doubt. i just got back from the theater about an hour ago, and i was quite pleased.
