parents bulling you

i have parents that are bulling me because i like this girl across the street and my parents dont like her because she wash and cleans out her car all the time, they bully me by calling me a weirdo and i feel like crap when they call me that, i mean isnt everybody weird at some point in their lives? there's nothing wrong with that, when i tell them to get a life, they get all defensive on me and with my fanstasies.

anyone have parents that treat you like this? seriously they need reality checks on what life is all about. they need to understand, people are different and they need accept them for what they are. it seems like they want a perfect world or something out of me.

sorry if i created this thread i just need something to get off my chest.

I feel sorry for you that your parents never accept what you think was good for you...

Sometimes they do it to me too. one example is that I shouldn't go the neighbor's kids because they thought the neighbors will arrest me and send me to jail because of this US law regarding children. but the neighbors liked me for being nice to their children, but my parents don't believe me and still I have to go see them secretly so I won't get caught. only my dad believes me but not my mom.

I don't see how that makes you or the girl weird.

Your parents are just kinda.. lacking wisdom. There are some things people just need to not say & shut up so other people can be happy w/o hearing something extremely unnecessary & bothersome.

As you grow older, they seem to give you more pressure than when you were a kid. THis might be because they know that you're rebeelious, and they try to enforce their power on to you.

thanks but they are like this all the time, i try to ignore it as much i can but they need to just relax about everything, if you know what i mean.

I seems that they are overreacting to stuff that they should just chill about. My dad thinks I'm weird all the time. Other than trying to explain it to them in ehich they might not get it afterwards, do your best to try and ignore them. Unless you are doing something dangerous or stupid, just live your own life.
