I think I've only actually looked through a grand total of 3 or 4 Playboy magazines in my life, but I don't think Marge is the first animated character to be featured. Wasn't Rayne (Bloodrayne) in its pages once?

Actually, every year since then has had a "Girls of Gaming" feature including Rayne, the triplets from Afro Samurai, and a few others I can't remember right off.

I dunno whether this is a brilliant move, or more evidence that they need to flush. I actually am surprised that Lois Griffin doesn't have the "honor" of the front page, given that they had an interview with Seth MacFarlane a couple of months ago (a pretty good one too, IMO).

I might just pick it up anyway for the hell of it.

Even explains something TV tropes hasn't been able too: Why the simpsons can comment on the news and then turn back to the tv and the newscaster hasnt continued on with it.
