There's a moratorium on all Super Sentai, that's why you haven't seen anyone release the earlier shows. With the past popularity of PR, you'd think that someone would taken JETMAN or something and release it. Now, you know why it hasn't happened.

I already bought Ultraman when it got released the first time around in 2 box sets.

With more and more retail outlets in UK(like Woolworths and Fopp) and USA(like CompUSA and Circuit City) closing down, the DVD box set may not be available again in the future. Better buy Red Baron box set now.

I agree, it's a disgrace that something so family oriented like Disney should own the rights to something not so strictly kid friendly (unless you're talking about the watered down bastardized versions of Power Rangers they blast onto television nowadays) Having watched the original Japanese versions does not make me feel at all inclined to watch crappy and cringe inducing dialogue spouted by a bunch of 30 year olds posing as teenagers or people in their early twenties.

The original Japanese versions are way better than the cut and paste jobs they do in the states. Dialogue is better, acting is better, the stories are WAY better too. And you don't feel as though your IQ is being reduced with each passing minute.
