[Cartoon] My Little Pony Talkback Thread

Pinkie Pie is Pony Batman. She lost her parents, got raised by an elderly person and found a way to psychologically deal with the trauma!
No she is the Joker, she is so crazy she is actually the sanest Pony in the world. Also her love parties reminds me of the 1989 Batman movie. I mean not only does the Joker throw that giant parade but he even dances to the song "Partyman" in the movie.

This week's episode was much, much better. We got to visit a brand new territory in Equestria and find out more about how the world works. (Ponies make EVERYTHING.) More than one pony learned a valuable lesson, and we got to see Rainbow Dash experience a rare moment of weakness. Seems while she's hot stuff and super-confident in Ponyville where she's unique and such, she oft feels inferior amongst her own kind and she's just another speedy pegasus. I like this.

(I totally called the Icarus outcome, but it was nice to see it referenced nonetheless.)

An excellent episode that came bearing bonus gifts! So yes, as Mara said, back to awesome form after last week's... nonsense. Dear Faust & Co.: never scare us like that again :)

That episode was pretty amazing :D really developped Rainbow Dash and it also added to Rarity's. We already knew she was generous but she can also get carried away and loose sight of the big picture, and this just cemented that aspect of her personality. Lots of male pegasi in there too (though some were just reused earth ponies with with tacked on, like Doctor Whooves).

Fluttershy's cheering in the teaser? So adorable! Yay!

And you know Rainbow Dash is gunning for some Wonder Lovin' in that last scene

I'm thinking of giving RangerBoard a My Little Pony Thread next Friday. What do you think? Do they deserve it? Should we spread MLP to RangerBoard?

Cheerilee is the school teacher from 'Call of the Cutie'. I know a 'Daisy' runs the Ponyville flower shop, as per 'Bridle Gossip' though she didn't look like that one.

15 is a bit of a low point, many people didn't like the moral at the end, it goes a bit against what Twilight Sparkle stands for to begin with. To me it was a bit too Looney Toon-esque.

Just realized this but why is Celestia still a princess? I mean it has been established she has been the ruler of Equestria for over 1,000 years, she even fought off advances by her sister to usurp her rule. She really shouldn't be going by Princess Celestia at this point.

Moving on, we got a Flutter Pony!

I'm not a huge fan of TV Tropes but Celestia is a very clear case of this trope in action.

I had a Flutter Pony when I was little. I cracked up at Rarity's wings. Flutter Ponies were awful toys, though, the wings almost always broke off in the course of normal play.
