I guess you didn't like Batman Begins or SpiderMan 2 or Jurassic Park. If they had done the DB manga it would have been absolutely terrible, worse than DBE could ever be.

I get what your saying. It's like how in the Dark Knight everyone loved the Joker but he's nothing like that in the comics. With Marvel and DC I think it's a bit different since most of there characters have been around since like the 50's. It's one thing to mess up the origins of the heroes, and how the heroes and villains both get there powers but for movies to fit all that into 2 hours hours it's forgivable.

Yeah, I mean... DBE wasn't bad. It's a manga/anime purist's utter nightmare and there really was zero reason for the damn thing to exist, but I enjoyed watching it. You want to see a genuinely bad adaptation, look at Last Airbender. God. And that one tried to be a literal translation!
Dare I say, I was hoping in the back of my mind for a futuristic AU take on the Saiyan Saga. If this isn't a hoax and we're getting that plus Wing Knight, I'm down.

But that was done by Japan, not America...unless a new one came out. Because I remember reading some of the first draft that was leaked from the American version and it was horrible...nothing like Death Note at all... :redface2:

I don't see Toriyama making alternate versions Dragonball himself. And still I don't think it's good to make a movie if you aren't going to keep it similar to the media it's being adapted from. Also I have a strange feeling you don't like Dragonball? At least the director tried to show what he liked about the show on screen. What I think he should have done though was take a scene or two to actually show CHARACTERIZATION and why Ang is friends with the other two, but ah well, guess he couldn't write that in
would have been better if it was 2 and a half hours. I still say better than Evolution, because if you changed a few designs here or there no one would know that it's Dragonball.

Are we absolutely positive this is real? It looks to me more like a fan-edit (likely made to inspire "fear" in others/joke around about the possibillity of a second movie) than a genuine poster. That, and imdb isn't always the most accurate thing to determine actor information, I continue to remember hearing something about Captain Janeway and a "Brown Ranger" being on the imdb page for Dino Thunder at one point.
I'd wait to see if we get actual confirmation from Mullins, himself, first.
