MASS EFFECT 3

Releasing DLC would get them more money too.

Also - anyone playing on PC with the From Ashes DLC and unable to load their saves offline? Right now I have no choice but always playing online. So far EA customer support hasn't been any help. I guess it isn't good karma to support a company by buying their games, especially when said company forces spyware on you.

Beat the game last night... Not really spoilers, but hiding any ways.

Didn't know multiplayer was the way to increase my odds at a "good" ending. Then I found out what the "good" ending is, and... I didn't realize there are no ways to increase your odds of a good ending.

I didn't really think BioWare would be able to pull off a game where the player's decisions impacted the ending of the game. The logistics behind that would've been kind of crazy. But I figured if anyone could do it, a big budget studio could. I guess I forget big budget == being all about money, not being innovative with using video games as a storytelling medium.

What pisses me off is that Dragon Age: Origins at least told you what happened afterwards. ME3 could've done that, they could've said that because you cured the genophage, a century later blah blah blah happened. They didn't need to show it, I could've just read it in a little text box and been happier.

Decision-making-wise, there were some nice touches during the game. And it was a good ride overall, and I loved the actual game play. I was nowhere near as disappointed as I was with DA2. But still not really a satisfying conclusion, the game deserved much better.[/HIDE]

Not exactly...and by not exactly, I mean no. Importing a save with minerals just gives you a few more points into your war readyness score.

Crap... So does Mass Effect 3 still take into consideration if you've played ME1 and ME2 (or twice for each game)?

Well choices you made in ME1 and 2 have consequences in ME3. I am not sure if that's what you mean. The problem with ME3 is that the ending, no I won't spoil and yeah there really is only one ending, has no closure and raises a lot more questions than ending any.

Is that really a surprise though? Why write a definitive ending when they can leave things open for further spin-off games to continue milking the franchise?

Yeah very true. I hope that's not the case here. I really do :sly:

I've heard that from... quite a few people. Ones that loved ME 1 and 2 a lot. I haven't read any spoilers about exactly what happens, but it does make me a bit sad because I just actually started ME1 Saturday and am loving the heck out of it.

Yeah ME1 and 2 are amazing games. Hell ME3 is amazing up to a point. Bioware really dropped the ball on the last of ME3. It's really really disappointing.
