KR 555: Paradise Lost - Talkback

Ya? He did not talk. Oh man that sucks. Oh Well.

He did talk....what I mean is Orga didn't give me, personal thought, any impression as a fuckin' badass at all in PL tho he had all that's required to be one...:anime:

I still -really- wish we could've seen Orga's kick, just...not executed on the only target he has in the movie. =P When he fired it up with his sword it looked absofuckinlutely awesome, but yeah. o.o

I thought PL was a great movie....I mean, Takumi doing 6 or 7 kicks at once was just amazing!!! I also finished watching the series, and I thought it was a great show...Although half the time I was wishing Kaiza would die or shut the **** up for once...All he does is bitch bitch bitch...

I watched this movie today and I was blown away. It was truly amazing. (the director's cut). The battles were brilliant. I loved how they used the Trio's orphenoch forms. The storyline? Just... Wow. Epic! Very interesting, and moving.

Acting? Excellent with few exceptions. One of those exceptions being, of course, just like the series, Keitaro. The dance scene was brilliant, Koutarou's role despite the acting was satisfying; Mari was a great lead; the antagonists were interesting and believable. Psyga was just so cool. Yuka, one of my favourite characters from the series, only had a small role but was brilliant and very moving. Kaido surprised me too.

Basically, the Director's Cut of Paradise Lost felt to me like another huge jewel in Faiz's crown. It's difficult to think of any negative aspects to Faiz.

I agree...PL was awesome. Kaixa...I like the suit, but daaaaaamn I just could not handle this dude. I work with too many :bawling: like him, so to have to deal with it in the series and then the movie...:sly: . Psyga was cool, kinda like one of the "locals" from Hawaii. I liked him even more when he "pointed" at Kaixa.:buttrock: Orphenoch suits were great, and well...this whole movie just kicked @$$.

More of Orga would have made PL better though...;)

Whoa major thread revival.

Funny thing, watched it two nights ago on the big screen with surround sound and watching it AFTER completing Faiz (I was first introduced to Faiz via PL) it made more sense (and mmmm... "standin by" coming from 5 speakers is total audio sex). Since I watched the standard theatrical release, the movie to me, seemed to fall a tad bit short on a lot of things. The rush from Takumi not knowing who he was to him remembering and becoming Faiz again was too sudden than before when I first saw it.

I still don't understand the purpose of the dance besides the fact that Mari and Takumi meet again, have a romantic moment, and Takumi gets his memories back. To me, the dance seemed a bit forced.

Our favorite three Orphenochs <3 Kaido was a shocker, knowing his show counterpart compared to the movie. It was also interesting to see how Kaido has actually fallen for Yuka rather than in the show where he just used her for his own selfish reason. Kiba was Kiba so it was no initial " whoa " or " wow ". Same for Yuka as well.

It just tickled me to look at this movie; it was an entire foreshadowing for the Faiz finale (Kiba giving up on humanity, Yuka's death, etc).
