Kingdom Hearts - Talkback

I found the tussle in Wonderland to be a bit trying. The cards wouldn't stay down for the count and I didn't have any potions.

Not to mention in the thick of it, it's near impossible to scroll down, while dodging, to get at your heal stuff without some bad guy jacking you in the back.

Me and the boys are looking for Alice now. I will heed the warning of necessary leveling.

I'm kinda in a rush to finish, because I really wanna experience Kingdom Hearts II with everyone else and maybe take up some other games.

Not sure how well it's known here but it takes me a looooooooonnnnnnng time to beat a game. I just never find the time to put into it, so I've a stock pile of A-list games currently collecting dust.

Oh me, oh fucking my this game is beginng to snag me. I wonder what the sequel will do to properly own this game.

It's doing precisely what I WISH Nintendo would do and create an adventure using their worlds and properties. While Sony isn't necessarily doing this, it's nothing short of incredible when Final Fantasy characters stride onto the scene.

Cloud.

Just being in his presense was nothing short of goosebump inducing. Adventuring with and fighting along side all these awesome and familiar characters is awesome. Once upon a time in my youth, I had an ongoing daydream where basically I did the same thing. Me and Link would battle across Hyrule and a thousand other video game landscapes and cartoons meeting the Ninja Turtles, battling Gannon, or throwing down with the Dragon Lord from Dragon Warrior.

It's like they took my most cherished daydreams and made it into a video game.

Kickass.

Not sure how I feel about the slow leveling tho. I can definatley picture these baddies getting tougher down the line and the controls for Sora aren't exactally God of War. I'm getting the hang of it and wiping out the Heartless with a fell swoop of my Keyblade well enough, but I fear when I have to cross swords with the likes of Sephiroth or the Little Mermaid's Ursala.

Definately worth the trip. I recommend everyone give this a try.

Anyone know where I can find that one Kingdom Hearts trailer where we see Sora and the gang battling it out on some castle and at the very end Mickey dives in to save the day at the last second like a ninja?

It doesn't really help now, but those decisions you had to make and questions you have to answer at the beginning of the game do actually come into play, kinda-sorta.

Depending on what you chose and what you gave up out of the three items in the whole "Dive into the Heart" sequence (the sword, the shield, and the wand) you'll be stronger in a certain area and weaker in another. I picked the sword and gave up the shield, thus Sora had crazy attacking and magic power, but defense wasn't as high. There's ways to offset this though, as you'll probably soon discover.

And IIRC, the questions you get from the three kid FF characters on the island also will affect how quickly (or slowly) you level up. I forget the exact combination, but if you're leveling up slowly at first, it should begin to get faster later on (this is what happened to me), otherwise you cruise through levels quickly at the beginning of the game, and it takes longer to gain new levels later on.

This is all just what I've read though...I only played the game through once not knowing any of that beforehand, although in restrospect it worked out because I was strong enough by the end to not have too many problems, except with some of the extra bosses.

KH2 isnt out in america yet, so dont worry about it. You have plenty of time.

Leveling up is fine. As long as you take your time you will be fine. All you have to worry about is the puzzles. But they arent always too hard. The game is very short so you might as well take your time. You will have it beat in no time.

Eh? You could probably try IGN. Im not sure I know what trailer you are talking about.

And Igadevil is right about the choices in the beginning I think. Hmmm reading this stuff makes me want to replay.

Sephiroth. He'll kick your ass. I mean that was a fight from hell right there. It took everything I had to beat that mutha fugga. Harder than the last boss that's for sure.

Just reached Tarzan's world.... huh, didn't know I'd be able to swap people out.

Donald's kinda useless and near all our battles manages to get himself knocked out. I'm gonna feel much better with Goofy and Tarzan getting my back.

Donald will be really useful later on when he starts gaining levels, and you're going to need him for some of the crucial battles, because the guest characters can only be on the team in their own world. Give him HP-boosting accessories when you can early on, because I found he was pretty weak until about halfway in. The guest characters are also pretty good the first time you go through a world, but when I went back again to level up and get stuff I missed, I usually found myself just sticking with Donald & Goofy, who nearly became demi-gods by the end after I got them both to Level 100.

Release date on April 15, 2006.

^Look a this date, don't worry about this, Keith. It's only 3 months away so you can have plenty of time. You'll be fine. :anime:

Man, I'm so excited.

They should have make a tv series and make DVD to release.
