Ragna "D" BloodEdge
By the Power of Gaia!!!
Okay, first off, you absolutely have to have the MP Berserk ability equipped--I'll explain why in a minute--and having Ultima Weapon's a huge help, but if you don't have that, I reccomend using Oblivion. I've heard Rumbling Rose is good, too but I haven't tried it. Elixirs are essential, too, of course and Curaga is manditory.
Now you'll need the following abilities equipped:
-MP Rage x 2 (6AP)
-MP Haste (3AP)
-Defender (3AP)
-Leaf Bracer (1AP)
-Once More (4AP)
-Second Chance (4AP)
-Upper Slash (4AP)
-Air Combo Plus (1AP)
-Horizontal Slash (2AP)
-Finishing Plus (3AP)
-Air Combo Boost (2AP)
-Defender (3AP)
-Slide Dash (2AP)
-Aerial Finish (3AP)
-Aerial Sweep (2AP)
-Aerial Spiral (2AP)
-Retaliating Slash (3AP)
-Slapshot (2AP)
-Item Boost (2AP) *OPTIONAL
-Scan (2AP)
-Guard (2AP)
-Counter Guard (4AP)
-Trinity Limit (5AP)
Put the Elixirs on your shortcuts and don't enable Auto-Reload. Leave one shortcut open for Curaga.
Approach Sephiroth and after the cutscene, use the Reaction Command to block his first attack, then go directly into the Trinity Limit. Just keep on pressing Triangle for the Reaction Command 'Break' until the Limit Bar is empty. You can do 3 sets of Trinity(2 Breaks) and 1 last 'Break' the exact moment the gauge empties. So don't stop until you've executed the LAST Break. once that hits, press X like crazy because this is where MP Berserk comes into the picture. Don't worry if he gets out of the combo somewhere in the middle of the barrage because by this time, you'll have knocked out around 4-5 of his Life Bars.
Now what your current status is depends on what you should do next. If you're low on health, you can use an Elixir and then just go back into the Trinity/Berserk strategy. If your health's okay, just take off and glide around the area until your MP refills, then repeat the Trinity/Berserk process.
