Wow everyone calm down. Sometimes I wish that the board drama would die down a bit. In my opinion if you don't find it funny leave it be. There are a lot of people on this board so obviously not everyone is going to like it. Don't ruin the fun for the people who do by causing crazy drama. No one wants to read people bashing each other back and forth. Geez. Well, most people dont' anyway.

The difference is that those people let a bombed joke die, whereas Ladymercury had to moan about "getting a better response" had she been such and such. And that's just lame. Between that and her insult to the board, I felt something needed to be said.

Heaven knows I've made plenty of bad jokes, and plenty of those bombed, but you just move on and not have an immature fit that you weren't well received by those outside of your clique.

I think the bigger problem is that you always aim for the lowest common denominator. Some people here like that, some don't. Igadevil uses his knowledge and love for the franchise to point out certain absurdities or he will nail character traits rather than going for the obvious -- which is why I think he's successful.



Give me a break...don't insult the entire board simply because your joke bombed.

I've been pretty lax on what threads I keep an eye on, but posts like the above will get you banned. You came to this thread to take a crap on a fellow poster for your amusement and so did several of you.

Just want you to know from here on I'm keeping a closer eye on **** like that and yes, I will bring the hammer down on you swift if I see this again.

If you don't like the thread, don't post in it and find something else to do. If you wanna try and frack with another poster to see a rise outta them for your own amusement you better not be doing it here at HJU.

I made this place so people didn't have to worry about crap like this. So, please don't test it.

I like you guys and want to keep us all together, but if common courtesy is too much of a request for you, then you can find another place to hang out where you'll be praised for making people uncomfortable.
