That scene where Nito tries to get the mynah to come to him but attracted a lot of crows instead was funny, rewatched that part at least 3 times.
Haruto: That mynah's a phantom..a PHANTOM.

Very much looking forward to 38, where we'll finally get to learn more about Haruto and his past. It's about time!

So am I supposed to believe that the police department never bothered to take a look at the security footage of some of the alleged arson attacks themselves? Honestly, they can't talk about firing Rinko, when everyone else is just as useless.

Okay, the end was...unexpected. But the arc is over. They're hardly going to address it (much) in the next episode, so, I don't even know what to make of it. I guess the show will just pretend it hasn't actually happened. Oh, Wizard, you.

Manga panels were genuinely amusing though. I admit, I chuckled a few times at that, as much as I'm not a fan of injecting all sorts of OTT anime elements into a Toku show, like the Myna bird's cartoon reaction face.

Wow, I didn't think Ishibashi could get any worse but that was genuinely one of the worst arcs of the season.

Yeah, I just get this feeling that the rest of the cast can't keep up with Shiraishi's acting. Or aren't given as good material and whatnot. He's not Kiriyama or Watanabe by any means, but I do like his acting. I think next week's episode will be a lot better. I haven't checked to see who is writing it but it looks good just from the previews.

I really didn't expect the White Wizard to be Shunpei of all people..

Don't even joke about that.

...but yeah, these episodes were utterly disgusting in my opinion. As if the plot couldn't get any more contrived, simplistic and predictable, they had to up the awfully lame humor with over-the-top cartoon effects. Also, I wanted to seriously kill Shunpei after these two episodes.

same here it was pretty funnny and action was great

Welp, Toei, it's good to know that if someone is suffering from depression/some form of mental illness, all they need is to be yelled at and shoved into some mud. It's such a simple solution, I'm surprised nobody thought of it before.

Other than that, this episode was a - slog. There were some good parts, like Haruto and Nitou's 'It's a Phantom. A Phantom.' conversation, but for the most part this episode was just really, really dull.
