Curious that the only times Medusa decides to act outside of giving orders to Phantoms is when Koyomi's also out and about. I was hoping Haruto knows who Medusa's human form is. Alas, no luck there.

The fight between her and Wizard is nice, though it lacks the desperation and fear that's palpable in Phoenix's encounter with him.

I agree it was just a taste of her power and damn she was and seems stronger than when haruto encounter phoenix phantom. This episode overall was damn good i wanna see how this plot just keeps developing over the course of the series. And this is the kind of things need to happen such as a good fights, and keep the story going and this was one of those episodes that did just that.

funny how the press scans made Phoenix seem like the stronger one but Medusa seems way tougher. Looks like she fights Hurricane Dragon next week too.

[Reimon]

Going to the same scene from Kiva where he fights Saga at the fountain place.

[Actar]

Very interesting. It's the Special ring that activates the Dragon Fusion...

I think when it comes to brute strength, Phoenix takes the cake. It seems Medusa has magic and brains aside from brawn, though, because it wouldn't matter once Wizard gets his power up. I'm hoping she has some regenerative ability like Phoenix does. Maybe she'll only shed her skin when she gets defeated?

I really like this episode. Mostly because, unlike the other Gates who's hope is based on something the want, the old man was based on a another person. Liked the change of pace :anime:
