A few more observations/comments:
*Making one of the two hosts KOd during Double's fights is an interesting concept, similar to how in Rainbowman Takeshi Yamato would be frozen and unable to move while healing, therefore vulnerable to attack. Philip and Shotaro will have to be careful when they transform; doing it at the wrong moment could result in disaster.
*The Dopant are interesting villains, it's great to see a return to the villain organization type enemy. Although I still say they look like Crisis Empire's best buddies.
* Upon further analysis of the opening, I've found the intro to be the best part of the song, gives off a sort of retro vibe. The rest of the song bores me. Gonna have to see what I think of the whole thing.
* Why are most Heisei Rider females useless and/or annoying? :redface2:
* I like the design of Double's bike, and the fortress thing wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.
Overall I'm more impressed with this than Decade's first ep.

To be honest I think Akiko's personality is like that because it throws Shotaro off kilter. He gets visibly flustered when she doesn't take him seriously, and by that you can see how inexperienced and unsure he still is about this whole situation they're in.
I realized I didn't fully talk about the premiere. That's Odd because I loved It.
This was a great 1st episode, W has a badass Origin, from the guy getting shot, to the henshin, and the W power being so strong It blew the Helicopter away and was taking the place down. All that was Gold.
The OP is great to, once again, a badass pose from behin W to start It off, all Detective-y and stuff. lol I just realized It's been awhile since a girl sung the OP, and It was a Female/Male duo. Have we had that before?
Akiko Is cute man, a prescription for chill pills would help her greatly, but I don't mind so far. Like Fang pointed out, her covered in a blanket, hugging a pillow was cute also.
Phillip...he kickass just as I imagined. Clothes mean nothing, he's smart as hell, sorta has an evil to him, and a cool slack I like.
Shotaro is really cool too, only a pimp would put a smoking hat back on. :buttrock:

The Villains, I feel like I'm watching a JDrama, when i watch their seen, I don't know why. lol But that's a good thing.
I like the henshin and battle alot. I'm wondering though, I think Shotaro is always going to be the one to start the Henshin and actually put on the belt. Plus I hope the unconscious thing doesn't happen all the time. I have no problem with It, but to see them change It up will be real nice.
It seems like there is going to be a good amount of CGI in the show, I'm not sure how I feel about that.
