You see, I suspected that. I remember one day akiko said "Maybe your trying to copy my father?" When she said that I wonder what the hell she was talking about he didn't seem like he was copying him. But now I see it.

Shotaro is more corny-boiled then anything.

But this doesn't mean i don't like him, I think he's great. But at times he can be less then half boiled. :redface2:

Akiko said it best in the second episode, I believe. Shotaro is half-boiled, tough on the outside and sentimental on the inside.

Right right. I'm not mad at that though, I'm proud of Accel's (forgot his name sorry) drive for kickingass as soon as possible.

But Sho had a loss also, yet he has to copy somebody to actually feel he's worth something. Maybe he's not actually fit to be a detective? That'd be a cool little arc.

it's Ryu, not a hard name to remember, and I guess "half-boiled" isn't such a bad term to describe him, I see him as hardened on the inside, but keeping a positive demeanor on the outside, because he still lives for the city and its people. Ryu on the other hand, lost everything, and only lives for revenge and justice
