Kamen Rider Spirits

After The First movie, I was reccomended to check out this manga. I have the first volume, but before I read it I just wanted to check is there anything else I should check out or read up on? I can't really watch raws and could just about put up with HKs if that's the only option, but it'd still be a lot to watch if I did...

I think it helps to be familiar with the basics of the original Kamen Rider series up through Kamen Rider Super-1, because there's a lot of referencing back to them in Spirits. It can actually be enjoyed going in knowing nothing about Kamen Rider at all, but it becomes infinitely more enjoyable if you can pick up on all the stuff Muraeda has crammed into it. There's details that I thought only I ever noticed. :laugh:
