I would still say Asakura was more or less Ryuki's best and most enduring character, even with the wacky translation.

(And I think the other sub option for Ryuki these days is the HK set, which borders on totally incomprehensible. So, y'know, "vexed" is pretty serviceable in that regard.)

I can't say it would be appropriate to sub Asakura using all black slang, but it would certainly be funny.

How the hell can you follow up that answer ".....I'm vexed." IT'S THE PERFECT ANSWER FOR EVERYTHING.

Ryuki was my first Masked Rider, and I spent a year with them, learning and loving the characters and the relationships of each other, then the ending happened... and well.. yeah.. it's everyone's complaint, nothing I say can add anything to it. So yeah...

No amount of word changing will change the fact that Ouja is one of the greatest characters in toku. We all knew what he meant when he spoke. His acting and movements showed you. Ryuki was also my first Rider series and it is one of my favorites so don't try to nitpick as FK says.

U mean Terui Ryu from W? Now that you think about it.........that comparison might not be too far off.

I mean, Asakura's response to everything is that "he's pissed/vexed" while Ryu's response to everything is "Don't ask me questions/Don't question me."

Very similar ways of executing to someone that you did something just 'cause you're annoyed
