Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

Did someone forget that it's DCD's show and not Kuuga's???

I've always thought that excuse was rather weak actually. He transformed at least once in every story arc starting with the Shinkenger arc. I don't see why he needed to be written out so often in the earlier stories.

Decade several times avoided doing some minor things that could have easily pleased fans...

Natsumi is pretty much one of the worst female Rider leads to date, even though she's one of the few that transforms. She has no consistent personality traits and, apparently, no desires in life that extend beyond following Tsukasa around.

I don't see how her personality was inconsistent. Her poor actress didn't help, but she was consistently worried about the journey and saving the worlds, even when everyone else went in random tangents, aside from the Nega World, when she thought that everything had ended.

So, her focus on the journey and Tsukasa, rather than personal interests, seemed pretty fitting, and it was explained by her dreams. It did leave her as a pretty one dimensional character though.

Hina got to show that she had a personal interest and conflict, regarding her strength, before getting involved in the story about her brother being almost dead and possessed by a monster. It's something, but I don't see how that makes her a much better character than Natsumi at this point. Although she might still end up better if she receives more development.

Man you're way off base if you think Akiko didn't contribute anything to W. I think a lot of the hate for her is clearly superficial but this just misses the mark so much it's not even funny.

Remember, a character is only useful insomuch as he or she is attractive to you personally.

Sorry if this is off topic here, but has anyone know this that Eiji transformed into OOO in front of Hina? Not sure if this was the first time, but I wonder how this will play out.

Yeah I saw that too. She was surprised. Eiji really should look where he's henshin'ing.

That kinda was the problem. He shouldn't of been there but since he was that doesn't mean they should do a bad job at writing for an awesome Rider. Really there's no way both ego's should of been on screen with out overshadowing another. Let's be thankful it was Kuuga and not Kabuto.
That style of writing female Rider leads-- giving them an attack that "deflates" the protagonist-- pretty much started with Hana and Momotaros in Den-O. Akiko is probably the best-written character to come out of that style to date. We pretty know what she wants out of life, she has her own clear personal motivations, and she isn't just there to be the protagonist's arm candy. Hell, she hooks up with another supporting character!
I think that's why people hate Akiko. She was TOO good at her job. It's like every time she's on screen it's to make Shotaro look like an ass. Yeah it's fun to make the main character look stupid sometimes but when it's the same person causing it over and over again WITH THE SAME FUCKING SHOE! It gets annoying.

As for character development. She went from annoying girl to annoying girl who might become a decent detective someday if a dopant doesn't kill cause she hangs out with to many Kamen Riders and is married.

Well it isn't all off topic, since they've talked about Hina's character at one point ^^,

For me, the fact that everything is revealed fast to Hina implies that Kobayashi needed her to do something else later in the series than just spend the rest of the show walking around and saying "Where's my brother?" "Who are you?" and "What are those?" stuff

Sounds to me that Hina might become a very vital character later on if that's Kobayoshi's intention.

@NeonZ and HiddenMasta... So, who's fault is it that Kuuga wasn't written as he should have been???? All I'm saying is that DCD as a series did have a whole lot of flaws which is why we should not be using that series as a way to compare CoolGuy Kuuga with DCD Kuuga...
