Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

I just don't see why people are continuing with something they obviously find unpleasant when they have a choice about it.

Just check out the thread! If you publicly say you're dropping something*, you will get told to watch more of it. When it comes to forums, people will always tell you that until you've seen every episode, you should go watch the whole show because you might like it eventually. (If you've seen every episode and still hate it, well, clearly you're a troll or stupid.)

It's an attitude that seems geared to generate maximum unhappiness for all involved. The tendency of fandom is to want to make everyone like everything the fandom is about, which we can achieve to a point. You can't make everyone see the show the same way, though, and that's fine.

Catering to lots of different people is why I think it's awesome that Toei just completely changes up Rider every year. So if you didn't like last year's show there's always next year. And if you don't like this year... well, wait long enough and Toei will eventually make something else you like. Even if you had to wait about ten years like I did!

* Now a fair response here is "Why bother saying you're dropping it if you're not trolling the fans who didn't?" Good response. In my case, it's so I'm not solicited for an opinion about OOO in other forum-related places like other threads, IM, podcast, etc. I dislike having to tell someone to their face that I think their baby is ugly, more or less.

0zus or o`S

3 colours, hah.... first i thought there were 3 person need to combine to become one.... hehe

so nice story and ride along riders :D

Argh, my precious eyes!
Leave Pretty Cure alone! :P

(BTW, I'm saving that pic)
I don't like BLACK. I can't get past Episode 3. The way the production goes about presenting the show just turns me off. A person doesn't need to have a little fanbase decided checklist of favorites shows to be a member of the fandom.
Well, hell if we're tossing out confessions.

I love Rescue Fire. I don't care about all the toy promotion and ****, it had great music, fun characters and some fantastic CGI that kept me watching every episode. I even stopped watching it during it's run just so I could spam-watch the entire series after it finished because I didn't like waiting a week.

Also, for a long time, I didn't like Agito. Over time, I grew a great appreciation for what it did and the story it told, but I thought it was really, really, boring and the last episode looks like it was shot in someone's backyard.

Wow, I feel so much better! Maybe next I'll talk about how I feel Abaranger kicks almost every previous Sentai's ass and that KyuKyu Sentai GoGoV is vastly underappreciated!

I can honestly say this is the first Toku that I will continue to watch for a character other than the hero. Ankh is the only thing keeping me going past episode two.

This. Ankh to me is a more interesting character than Eiji (so far). Also, he's cuter, and his voice is god HOT! <3

I like both Eiji and Ankh. Ankh because I want to see where he's going with this and how long he can keep playing Eiji and Eiji because...honestly, I think his laidback personality is nice and just cool to watch. I feel that he is an actual hero who deserves his belt.

Also the flashback with the Worm meteorite explosions and little girl just hooked me. If anything, I'm watching to figure out what the deal with that is.

I watched it because I'm a completist bitch
Comics burned that streak out of me long ago.

I dislike having to tell someone to their face that I think their baby is ugly, more or less.
Whereas I've been waiting for this particular moment my whole life.

Note, I enjoy OOO because it's utterly retarded. I have those moments. It's why I watched Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus on Netflix. I certainly won't feel a compulsion to check up on it weekly, but I will watch it here and there between other stuff. (the new TV season is beginning this week, so I may be behind on OOO soon) But I also acknowledge that it's not enjoyable for some. And that a show can be for kids and still be written poorly.
