Kamen Rider OOO - Talk Up!

I too was a bit dissapointed by the opening because the part they previewed is really my favorite part of the song and I wish there was more of it... though now that I've had time to listen to it over and over I really love it for what it is.

Its a really fun song that promises upbeat excitement.

I wonder if they'll release a toy that actually turns from vending machine to motorcycle.

really i actually liked it. Ozu so far has been a little bland, it feels like they showed someone last years kamen rider series then all the others and then they just reused ideas from those and a few random animes and game up with this. Im not saying its bad but its not good either and after w which was great-so great that i can't think of anyway it could have been better and had everything a hard boiled crime novel has and yet had great kamen rider style action, the only thing i wish it had more of was more episodes but i don't want something i like to get diluted so i think its just ozu is going to have to pull out solid gold plated story and charaters if its going to measure up to w

also the things that are reused are the idea of collecting some thing from defeated monster-ie blade
the canroids -hibiki
partial body changes -double (w)
using humans to destroy things -den o
and ancient locked box and and a questionable organization that is prepared for it -blade-again

i just feel it has nothing of its own

That's why I feel it would be better off not being a part of Kamen Rider. The ideas are recycled and it doesn't fit the overall theme.
It wasn't terrible, but following up Double needed at the very least some effort.

Considering this is Kobayashi (aka Den-O's head writer) writing this series, can you really be surprised that OOOs is basically re-using some concepts from past Heisei Riders? I'm not, I expected this from someone who wrote a couple of those past Heisei Rider series..........at least with Sanjo you got a fresh writer that gave us fresh ideas since he never really did anything in the Kamen Rider franchise outside of Zo (or J or Shin, I forgot which movie he wrote).

This is why Toei should have went out and found another "new writer" to write the new Rider series.........not one of the "re-used hired hands" of the past.

Wow the Ride Vendor can do that? I hope she keeps using the "bike" concept in the show, not only in the first ten episodes than the bike never shows up in the rest of the series.

Considering this is Kobayashi (aka Den-O's head writer) writing this series, can you really be surprised that OOOs is basically re-using some concepts from past Heisei Riders? Hmmm, fresh ideas or not I'm not as skeptical as I used to be. I had my reservations of Kobayashi returning, you know since she is one of the "old" writers and not a freshman like Sanjo, but through the debut episode she shows promise, for me anyway.

Hope she continues the way she does.

EDIT: Just realized this (dunno if others have said this or not) Kougami is giving the Ride Vendor to OOOs, right? Kinda like how the police gave Kuuga his TryChaser and Beatchaser, eh?

Was the happy birthday scene a WTF moment for you? Good or bad thing?

For me it was pretty cool, kinda of setting up the villians showing how powerful they are and a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah him singing Happy Birthday while the greed kills those guys was awesome =D
As for the opening....it was visually nice, but lacked musically (if that makes sense). Worst one goes to kabuto.....never liked it.

The Greeed you see near the end of the opening, in the middle of their colored fabric curtains... they looked different, more complete.

Think we'll see a game of hot potatoes with the Core Medals? OOO gaining some, then losing some, etc, instead of just strickly getting more? Always fighting against the four Greeeds more than once??

Gotta wonder how ones goes about destroying a Greeed... Ankh could move around with his sole Core Medal in the possession of Eiji... so where does a Greeed's consciousness reside? If OOO gets all of one Greeed's memory then... shouldn't they start acting on their own since they're close to each other anyway?

Also...think they went and paid for the rights to use Happy Birthday?
