Dude, Goseiger is so bad that even Go-Onger is better than it (I actually like Go-Onger, not as much as Shinkenger, but Go-Onger was ok in its own right).

Back to the subject, ep1 was alright and I really love the designs of the four villains. The suit is alright and it gives me a bug kind of feel to it but I loved the finisher. I really don't know what to expect from this show and they're are many unexplained things but I'm looking forward to this series. BTW who else thinks that Mr. Cakeman and his assistant will gain about 50-60 lbs by the end of the series? :laugh:

The city not having a name is not a new thing for KR.
Most Rider series take place in "Generic Large Japanese City" even though it's mostly filmed in Tokyo. I can think of a few exceptions (Kuuga, Kabuto).

Fuuto was in many ways a character in it's own right, so it needed a name.

Yes, Ankh is one that lost his body and right now is only a Arm.

Ankh is indeed a Greed........an incomplete Greed unfortunately, hence why he's just a floating hand. Until he attaches himself to that injured/dead police officer from the episode, in which Ankh is basically a hybrid between human and Greed @ this point.

Can't say i'm overly impressed with OOOs so far..but..i feel i ought to give it a fair chance. I'll give it the same chance that i gave Double, but it'll need to work hard to capture me.
So far my favourite thing about OOOs has been Ankh..the scheming, manipulative daemon that he is(or seems to be). The fact that he has seemingly stolen Core Medals from the other Greeeds immediately forms Loki connections in my head..which pleases me..and using that kid for his own benefit is a very Loki thing to do.
I'd like to see him use OOOs to aquire more core medals for his own benefit...but..i fear that no doubt he'll come to have a soft spot for the boy. Were this a different show we may get an eventual Ankh/OOOs show down..but i'm not getting that kind of vibe from it. Shame that..

I'm not gonna harp on the design/gimmick for this series but one thing i will say is i don't see it grabbing me.
I never really fell into the Double Memory gimmick but even then i think its a better gimmick that OOOs if for no other reason than the Medals just seem to have RFID chips in them meaning the DX belt will be limited in how many sounds it can out rather like the Decadriver.
Although i have no desire to own a DoubleDriver i at least acknowledge the genius in making the Memories the component that has all the important stuff in it, resulting in near unlimited sound effect(as long as they keep pumping out memories).So straight away theres a knock against it in terms of merchandising tie ins. I could be proven wrong though, that OOOs belt may have more tricks in it than i realise.

I'll give it a few more episodes until i decide whether its worth while. At least the CG(as outrageous as it is) has been on par so far. Lets hope they keep it up.

The Cake guy creeped me out more than any of the Greeeds did. That operatic version of "Happy Birthday" playing over the wanton destruction of those rider guys was just made everything that was going on about 10 times creepier.

The police officer died even though he was more than capable of taking his seat belt off of him... open the door, crawl on the ground a bit....

Also, Ankh attaching itself/himself to a human... I would at least expected that dead human to have had his arm cut off from the accident first and then dying, hence the take over... but, it is a kids show afterall.. :laugh:
