It's possible. Mezool stayed alive with just one medal but this time a few of her's are missing.

It's entirely possible since the Greeeds and OOO will be fighting for the cores all the time it's not like their cores will be separate forever.

I would expect that wouldn't last long as they start losing Cell Medals, it would be safe to assume it wouldn't be too long before they're in the same state ankh was when eiji had to take a loan from kogami.
