Kamen Rider Kuuga General Discussion Thread

What holes are you alluding to again Shougo? About the mysterious youth? I don't really remember the early parts of Agito..

Honestly? As much as I like Agito, most of that Mysterious Youth stuff doesn't make much sense. Like...I thought with him being "hatched" from a puzzle from ancient times, with references to an "ancient civilization," that he would have had more to do with Kuuga's ancient civilization. I thought with him dressing in black, maybe they were planning on having him do something with the white-clad Daguba. But, nope. Inoue pushes the character aside for a majority of the series, and then comes up with a lot of contradictory religious stuff for the character. I mean, Agito always had this religious theme to it, but what Inoue does with the Mysterious Youth ends up muddying what the show had been setting up.

But, Agito was just being consistent -- Rider shows always drop the ball with their villains, IMO.

Didn't Ozawa just create the suit? And its weapons were Enokida's designs just hooked up to G3? Its been awhile since I've seen Agito.

Enokida's never mentioned, so I think Ozawa's supposed to be responsible for all of G3's arsenal.

Ah very intresting. Maybe Daguba had some sort of connection to the OverLord of Light. Contradictory..yeah, it sorta came out of nowhere. The OverLord had some great potential, but didn't pan out I guess. I'm still content with how it ended up though.

Did you think that Kuuga had dropped it villians?

You won't like my answer. :loltongue:

I was disappointed with a lot of the Grongi higher-ups. They never seemed to know what to do with The Girl With the Rose Tattoo -- I felt like bigger things were planned for her. I thought Daguba was poorly cast. I thought that the Bat one overstayed his welcome by about 46 episodes. And it seemed like Grongi monsters ran out of gimmicks after a while. When it comes down to a Grongi killing people based off of the color she paints her nails...? A Grongi killing people in connection to sheet music? C'mon. That's not as cool or creepy as those earlier episodes, that played up more on the Grongi's being primitively brutal.

Hahaha, I completely understand how someone would say that though.

I never thought that people wouldn't like the color-coding or Chopin's Music. But I completely understand that. Its a contrast from the brutality of the earlier Grongi. Daguba, I didn't like him at first, but I grew to like it.

Gooma. 2 words: Nipple Rings.

I think the Go class method was to show that despite taking on airs of refinement, the Grongi were still a tribe of brutal killers.

Just 8 more episodes to watch. Almost done:thumbs:

Ichijou is one of my favorite characters in the show. I love that little stand off he had with that B1 chick.

Here's my observation in some of the Grongi. As their rank progressed, their ways of killing humans in a game is getting more... "civilized."
