Kamen Rider Kuuga General Discussion Thread

Yeah, I wish we would go back to when we had, you know, actual bike stunts. Granted, with bikes like Machine Decader, Hardboiler, and RideVender, its hard to do stunts without CGI.

I wonder if bike stunts are done by Takaiwa and co. or have specific bike stunt men, like Kuuga did.

Vehicular stunts have always been mostly handled by non-JAE groups (the credit I usually always see is for the Takeshi Racing group), so what Takaiwa does on the bike is most likely minimal. The difference with Kuuga was that they got known pro-riders, wasn't it?

Suzuki bikes also helped. (Kuuga was the last Rider with a Suzuki, wasn't he? I can't quite recall.) I've noticed bike action has been disappointing ever since they switched to Honda's big ugly car-bike eyesore things.

Well recently W did have bike stunts, especially in upcoming A to Z which is awesome!

But I agree, Kuuga's bike allowed was more "stunt-friendly" due to its obviously mobility and lighter frame. I guess we won't be seeing to many bike stunts with OOOs this year now would we? Bike action maybe (like Eiji combining a Tiger Candroid with the RideVender) but definitely no bike stunts.

I also really hope Kobayashi doesn't forget how essential the concept of bikes are in Kamen Rider and does include them on a regular basis.

Why did Toei switch to Honda anyways?

Oh, the abacus dude. Baruba? I think it was, maybe it was Rose-Tatooed who has Baruba...

But yeah, Godai entered a self-induced coma in episode 45? 46? Somewhere along there.
