Kamen Rider Gaim - Lock 08 "Baron's Newfound Power, Mango!"

btw, what the ratings going eh ?? although by guessing, it will be stronger than the last wizard's episodes :D
IIRC the first episode's ratings were between those of the first episodes for Fourze and Wizard...which isn't great as Fourze has the lowest rated first episode of any Rider show, and Gaim is now taking Wizard's place as second lowest ever. It seems the crack down on figure leaks is still working pretty well, but rumour has it that Gaim's ratings are comparable to the lower end of Wizard's ratings, meaning that it's average so far is worse than Wizards was (although that is comparing 8 episodes to an entire series, so there's time for it to have some peaks that drag it's average up).

On the up side toy sales have apparently been better than Wizard's were in the same period of time. The trend of recent years continues as usual.

The fact that you don't need the belt to enjoy lockseeds is a big plus. I bought four lockseed on my trip to japan but no belt simply because most of the sounds I want are in the lock proper, even if I have to cheat for the DX ones. The only thing you're missing is the standby noise really.

I don't know why it took them this long to repeat the principle behind Gaia Memories like this, it's obviously a good way to reach customers who can't afford the expensive belt. All those Candy toy and gachapon sales are gonna stack up in the end.

you mean bravo, right !!?? that kind of comedic scene is not growing to me at all to be honest...

Oops, I meant to say Bravo, not Baron. :sly:

Gaim's been having okay ratings so far.

Episode 1: 6.4%
Episode 2: 5.6%
Episode 3: 5.0%
Episode 4: 5.2%
Episode 5: 6.7%
Episode 6: 6.3%

Well that's expected, cause we're not gonna see anything like Agito's ratings again. Besides, they are after the toy sales more so then the actual ratings. But at least they were what I expected them to be... though I was at least hoping in the 8's... but that was wishful thinking on my part. At least these are reasonably decent ratings nonetheless.

well...after count the numbers and so on, i thought that overall ratings will be higher than wizard, just like i said before :eyebrow:
but now i think it's good for the beginning, i'm glad especially with the toy sales going better than previous series

i wonder how long a lockseed remains unuseable (just like suika ls) till it can be used again ??
or maybe they just have to pick or buy another one again

Suika is probably pretty darn rare to find.

It'll be back whenever they got budget for a big CGI monster.

Its not THAT bad. I believe the average ratings for Kiva and Den-O were 6.2%
and in the end, it dosen't mean a damn thing, because it all depends on the toy sales.
Hibiki had GREAT ratings, but suffered from poor toy sales. We all know what happened to that show.
In contrast, Ohranger had the lowest ratings of any Super Sentai show, yet because of the toy sales we got a new sentai show the next year.

So I wouldn't be too worried.
