Kamen Rider Gaim Ep 30 - "The Red and Blue Kikaider"

Really? He put his brain into Hakaider? I wasn't expecting that. And now Hakaider reminds me of the Cybermen from Dr. Who.

So far it was enjoyable to see the new Kikaider. Since it brought back a lot of memories of the old series. At the same time it's also sad that Jiro reboots after he turns into Kikaider, to where he doesn't remembers Kouta. Also Ryoma putting his brain in Hakaider to test him out and he still can't get the job done.

Doesn't anyone find it disturbing that he put his own brain, seemingly to operate on himself, into Hakaider then put it back into his own body, successfully without any brain damage?

Ryouma as a killer-android was 10 times better than him being a Rider.
Can you imagine if he was like that for the rest of the show?

It reminded me of how much I miss having man-made villains in KR.
I was a huge fan of the Alternatives and Trials.

This crossover did make me succeed in making me excited for the Kikaider reboot, which I already am interested in. Problem it succeeds too well, because I'd rather watch Kikaider than watch Gaim.

Also Ryoma as Hakaider is one of the worst ways to advertise Hakaider.

I really enjoyed this episode, although like someone else whose name I forget, I would have liked it if it had fitted into the main story. I'm not especially fussed that it didn't, it just would have been nice if it had.

Also, the whole episode rather played out like a miniaturised tragic love story between Kouta and Jiro. I would have thought that the screeching 'I AM A ROBOT' noises would have been too distracting for Kouta, but it seems not.

Kouta's fetish is taller men with amnesia and red jackets who just show up out of nowhere one day, he can overlook a few clumsy sound effects for that.

If Ryoma wasn't already twisted, this takes it to another level.

oh god, ryouma in this episode..... is he retarded to insert his brain into a android like that? couldn't he insert a test subject in there and not himself in risk of destroying his livelihood in the name of science? why did he want to be a android in the first place? to destroy kouta? HE IS ALREADY A KAMEN RIDER!, why did he NEED to risk a chance of brain damage to see if a fucking robot works or not? in fact, why didn't he try to power up Hakaider in the first place? it could possibly still work like brand new, and if it could he could get the robot to kill kouta itself with his command!

oh god my brain hurts, i might need to insert my brain into a robot to kill this headache....
