Sanjo's history of writing women in tokusatsu doesn't impress me, with a few exceptions (Akiko, some of the guests in W, and a few supporting characters like Yuko and Shroud.)

I like it that her storyline neither revolved around hero-worshipping the main character, nor romance. And that she wasn't as idol-esque as the type of Kamen Rider female lead we typically get.

So the Double staff return eh? I have faith in Sanjo - Double was pretty solid so... Hopefully, though, it won't feel too similar to Double, having a pretty similar concept.

But yeah man, this is sounding really good. A detective, crime-drama Kamen Rider. The fact that they acknowledge adults at the press-conference is a good thing - Hopefully all the so-called evidence-collection and crime-scene investigations won't be watered down and nonsensical and possibly more like how they were in early Heisei. The detective-work in Double was hardly detective work.

Drive is looking pretty cool. Liking the cast so far. And Matsuoka singing the opening theme is awesome. :buttrock:

Overall, I am very enthusiastic about this series!

If they do a KR with mysteries on par with Higashino Keigo ones (which would be perfect for the two-episode format), I can die in peace. I doubt it's gonna happen in my lifetime, though, since those shows will fly entirely over the heads of kids. And it's Riku Sanjo.

But what the heck, Gaim has a lot of concepts that fly over kids' heads too, so why not?

Kamen rider drive should been used as a revival of robot detective K

You know what kamen rider drive could have been used as, A revival of of robot detective K which will have drive not as kamen rider but as robot detective DRIVE think about it imagine instead of drive being a kamen rider let him be a robot who looks like a human but as a robot like K did in the original series and will the original identity of Drive Shinnosuke Tomari be his human partner.

this will go back to the typical neo heisei era, you know monster of week, wacky characters and bad humor, and victim of the week
