Meh, day by day, my thoughts of Drive not getting a bike dwindled. At least his finishers are the classic Rider Punch and Kick (and I hope THAT stayed till the end of the show; don't want that door-handle blade thing to take the spotlight).

With that said, I think this is the least toyetic merchandise of the post-Decade era. (I might speak too soon though....)

I wonder if Drive has to have his car around to transform. After looking at that scan and seeing the wheel "detach" from Trideron and attaching to Drive, makes me wonder what would happen if his Car isn't there. Hopefully this means that Trideron will be staying most of the series and will be used often, even if in background for a second.

And yet none of the previous Riders bothered to help out. Come on all you folks who like to believe that every Rider series is in continuity, fanwank me a good explaination for why the past Riders never turn up for these things? Are they too busy planning their next attempt to murder all the Sentai? :laugh:

Well, the official explanation regarding why the other Riders didn't help during the Fourze tv series was that they were busy with their own battles in parallel. That was official, posted in the Fourze site and still online right now.

Some of the crossover movies have even used that on screen, the past Riders aware of and dealing with menaces before the current ones even learn about them. The Showa Riders and W facing Foundation X in Megamax, the Showa Riders dealing with Badan in Kamen Rider Taisen, while Shotaro hesitates to leave Fuuto. Even the ending of the movie with Hongo leaving in the armored Cyclone suggests that he was already going to another battle, and in interviews they mentioned that he's meant to be seen as someone who has been fighting all this time.
