It just seems seems so vague. Would it of killed them to develop that part a little better? Maybe give Terui his own version of "falling down a well". Instead it's:
Shroud: "Hey, Ryu your special."
Accel: "**** yeah I'am!" *turns into motorcycle and pops a wheely*

Well, really she could have done it to anybody. It's not like Ryuu's life was going to get destroyed on it's own like other Rider protagonists. She got lucky, found a guy with a weird physiology and there you go.

I do admit it could have been developed much better though.

I don't see how they could have deveolped it much further aside from more foreshadowing; he's resistant to biological Dopant attacks and that's why he was chosen to be Accel, its not like he's got the powers of god. Either way its not a plot hole.

It's just that some aren't satisfied with the explanation. I'm certainly satisified with "He's different". Why? It's in his genes. You can't really elaborate more than that.

That's true Plan A was Weather and that backfired so she did get lucky. She's not that smart after all. XD

I meant like give it a backstory. Like gamma radiation or being bitten by a radioactive motorcycle. He can't be the only person who's special right?

No, he's probably not the only person that has it, but its obviosly very rare. Also, its not like his specialness is as awesome as the Hulk or Spider-man's powers, as Ryuubei clearly demonstrates. "You're not affected by my fear goo? K, I'll just eat you then."

I guess there not going to answer why Accel isn't affected by Old or Terror. That's Doubles one plot hole........and I blame Decade.....

It's no plohole. As I mentioned in another thread, the chances that someone like Ryu who could resist Terror & Old's attacks are very rare but not impossible. It's just that Shroud lucked out when she chose him.
