I was actually hoping for plain old Cyclone Joker to deliver the finishing blow.

Actually, my best hope for an ending is a continuous MaximumDrive by Double, going backwards through all of his forms and ending with Cyclone Joker.

My best hope for a farcical ending is for Phillip to reach out to Wakana and they make up, and everyone is happy...

...until Wakana and Phillip start kissing, at which point they are run out of town with every single character in Double ever coming at them in Dopant/Rider form with torches and pitchforks, as Akiko yells that she didn't hear anything about this and Phillip reveals he had spent the day before researching Wincest and thought noone else knew about it.

It'll never happen, but it'd be hillarious.

That would be nice, seeing how we still haven't seen an official CT finisher or a LJ finisher. I feel like we'll never see those now.

I really can't consider any of the Xtreme stuff to constitute Philip dying in any meaningful sense. Maybe if you were trying to make sense of the actual Xtreme info and leaped to the wrong conclusion.

Masked Rider Dopant sounds sort of doubtful. I could see a Mask Dopant or Rider Dopant - even a Kamen Dopant, maybe - but I believe all prior Dopant names have involved a single English word as the core concept.
