Who in their right mind would choose "rotten" as a Gaia Memory to buy from that guy? Weren't there other choices that sounded better? Geez.

Well, didn't the producer say he's going to have series actually connect with each other now?

Decade's producer said that it was something he believes Toei should begin doing again for sales purposes. Decade's producer isn't working on W, though (to my knowledge). So, at this point, it's hard to know how much that opinion would influence W's production in particular.

Certainly, W and Decade will probably have a crossover at some point. It would be stupid not to do so. To me "W and Decade will be connected" would mean something far more far-reaching and significant than that, such as (just for example) W's backstory involving things from Decade's story like Dai-Shocker and this being referenced in the television series.

A picture of Papa Sonozaki and Eijiro drinking together doesn't necessarily mean we're at that point yet. It means we definitely have at least a crossover cameo incoming and could have something more significant in context. Until someone's seen the film, though, there's really no reasonable way to know yet.
