Some people like to hate-watch. Some people watch with the hope that the show will turn around for the better. Some people are just loyal to the franchise, and that means they'll have to endure the bad with the good. (My favorite henshin hero franchise is Super Sentai, and I still watched Go-onger every week, even though I thought it was the worst sentai show ever. I like the franchise, and didn't want to be behind/skip a series. I believe Black Fang is that way with Kamen Rider.)
What a boring discussion board it would be if everyone just posted "OMG, Decade rocks! :buttrock:" It should be known by now that there's to be negative criticisms, or that people can still like a show and still criticize it.
Yeah, see, comics pretty much burned that out of me. There's nothing worth wasting my time for longer than 3 issues/episodes. My time is valuable and I'd rather use it on stuff I enjoy. JMS' run on Spider-man got bad, I bailed, hopping back on only to see the first issue of OMD (bad), and the first arc of BND (good!). I dislike Hal Jordan, but my discussions of the title on the comic message board I mod, tend to go around that towards the overall story Johns is presenting. Those I discuss the title with know I don't like Jordan and my reasons why. No reason to repeat myself.
The problem, if you partake in stuff you don't enjoy, not only do you get all broken record, but you start to get more and more angry.
"I'm not feeling the writing on this show."
"This show isn't very good."
"Jesus Christ, this show sucks."
"OMG! WHAT ARE THEY THINKING, THIS IS A TRAVESTY!"
"SURELY GENOCIDE WOULD BE BETTER!"
"BLARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAARRRRRRRR!"
And so on.
So while I understand your loyalty, I'd say there probably something better you can do with your time than to watch something you hate, and the joy of it is: you get a do-over every year! Hell, the next do-over is soon!
