I think this "finale-in-movie" ending screws all fans over, not just foreign ones. Sure we have to wait a long time, but in Japan, they also have to wait a whole 3 MONTHS to know how the show ends! Bad move on Toei's part.

Well you would think there would be something to make it feel like the show had a certain degree of closure even as it lead into the real big deal finale.

To some extent I like the idea of using a movie for the series finale but it should be much closer to the actual movie's release time if you're going to do it that way at all. Which is part of why I thought having the conclusion be the DaiShocker movie could have worked nice.

Ultimately, if it means getting something that is a satisfying conclusion to the events, uses the breathing room and extra budget a movie provides to really take this thing to the max and wraps the characters up nicely then I may be able to live with it. Until then, my opinion of Decade is basically in suspended animation.

But this movie better deliver on ALL fronts and then some. Not a single thread left untied. No artsy fartsy vauge ending, no everybody dies grimdark bullshit, no lead in to another sequel. A real ending that makes the viewer feel like every single moment of watching the series was worth it to get to that point.

I like that they keep the tension up, so even though the series is over, it's still on my mind for a few more months. I can't wait for the movie.

Easy for you to say cause you can watch the movie in decemeber :laugh: I just hope that this movie will bring proper closure to the series and bring everything into full circle

That's still months away, don't think the wait isn't killing me. :laugh: But I can manage. Considering I used to have to wait about a month to get four raw episodes of a new show on VHS or a new magazine with pictures of stuff that was already old, this is nothing. Even outside Japan, you can basically now watch the shows as they air, get subbed version practically the next day, get to see magazine snapshots before they even come out here, and get CD/DVD rips like the day they're released. I know it's frustrating having to wait so long for the movies, but trust me, you are luckier than you think.

Co-signed. Getting Raws, Subs, and rips of music as fast as we do now is pure luxury.

Maybe there is a REAL Purpose for Double in this film which is why they are letting it air now. Its safe to Assume Double is within the same "time" period as Decade. As the Movie should take place right after Decade ends, the movie might also take place within Double's Half way point.
So instead of Running a Kamen Rider Power Hour in Japan starting in Jan, they instead Shortened Decade to get Double started so they can both meet up in the film.

You know, at first, I was pretty upset like a lot of you about Decade's ending. But today, I remembered something that helped put it into perspective. Code Geass and waiting four months for the cliffhanger season finale after the first one, and then waiting two years before it got a proper send off. So just remember, it could have been MUCH worse.
