Is it confirmed that they are indeed supposed to be the originals?

Maybe they're just trying to save time rather than describe them as "the Dr. Shinigami looking guy," but I notice the Japanese fans just calling them "Dr. Shinigami" and "Jigoku Taishi." :shrug:

It would be nice if they just end up being brothers or successors of the real guys. Decade doesn't need to start taking a wrecking ball to the Showa Riderverse.

Question is, is Ishibashi playing Shinigami as a separate character from Grandpa Hikari? Or is this some sort of hint that Hikari -IS- Dr. Shinigami?

I was actually thinking that. Grandpa Hikari sure does know a lot about what is going on in these worlds and he is basically the person who is making them go from world to world. He just makes it look like that the paintings falling down were accidents.

Anyway, I'm sort of iffy on the design. I didn't like Decade from the start, however it did grow on me, so I might possibly end up liking this one. I'll just have to see it in action more to get the feel for it.

i have no problem with the complete form only except it looks 5% Ryuki Survive form and the Decader is now on the side of his waist.
