And that's my point. I liked how Kaixa returned. Its better than recasts. I rather see them all in suit, with their original voices than total recasts.

Look at those cameos. They weren't around enough time to have any importance in the series. Kaixa's and the Hoppers' return so far has been completely pointless.

It's not like you guys don't have hopes or standards for this to actually be a worthy anniversary show. It just that when it turns out horrible, you have to rationalize all its flaws, accept it and defend TOEI's utter defamation of everything Rider. It just puzzles me that I can't criticize anything around here...

I just really disagree with your take there. I'm not rationalizing any "flaws", I'm acknowledging where Toei got it right.

Agito, Kabuto and Boukenger were promoted as anniversary shows, yet, what did they have to show for it besides some small pointless references? Decade might not be bringing back the casts besides a few minor participations, but it's celebrating Rider history much strongly than any of the previous attempts.

Sure, it doesn't bring back old cast members in main roles, unlike the VS Super Sentai movies, but it actually is attempting to show an actual story, unlike those specials. So far, even without old cast members, I'd choose Decade easily over any of the two VS Super Sentai specials.

Lack of coherence? The only problem, so far, has been Spider Fangire's cameo. Kivat kept his voice because he's a henshin device of the suit, so they wouldn't change it. Every other returning character (Wataru, Hoppers, Kaixa) appeared from outside of Decade's worlds. There's a clear logic, unless you think that Spider's cameo breaks the entire show.
