Abyss looks pretty cool. I wonder if we will ever find out which of the original 13 he is the replacement of? His 'met looks slightly like ouja's. Those rumors of a new den-o form and kabuto rider are sounding more and more plausible.

lets pray Gackt is gonna be Abyss if its the true villian.

The Abyss actor is shown next to the suit I assume. And Abyss is probably just the new 'kaijin' for Ryuki's world, much like they created a new Grongi for Kuuga's world. (the one Decade is fighting in the scans there.)

Fortunatly for Toei, and unfortunatly for us, those recast riders have 1 similarity, they don't have to be something special to become a rider.
Their system is that, anyone who attend to the henshin device can transform into a rider, well at least that how shinji became Ryuki.

So the recasting isn't totally such screwed up, lets just hope that toei realises this and make a good cover-up. eg. shinji got eaten by draggeder and this errie looking guy took over. Kenzaki is the navy joker now and he doesn't need the blaybuckle, hibiki retired... all is possible @@

Nah. Think of it like Marvel's What If or DC's Elseworlds. Slightly different takes on the same basic idea.

I guess it's going to be best to wait and see what happens. I knew it wasn't possible to get all the actors back, but I was hoping at least more of the ones I had assumed would be back. Hajime was in Climax Deka which was recent for example. I think this series truly would have been amazing if they actually took the time to do it properly, but I guess with all those different series mashed into one, it would have had to have gone way over 50 episodes and costed a ton. I'm sure they are giving us the best they can do, so I am not going to get my hopes up until I actually can form an opinion after watching it.

Also, with the actors not all returning, it makes me take my attention away from that, and be more excited for new Riders. I have a feeling that each series will get a new one.

But probally the riders characters are diffferent because of the worlds merging and near the end all the old actors come back and take their place for the finale.

I would love that but I doubt it.


What I want to know is why are the Heisei Era Riders such bitch's?! The Showa Era Riders used to do team up all the time right? So why it so hard to get thes guys back for like 5 episodes each?

There is still hope, Toei could pull a Ultra Brother style team up movie.

There's a few possibilities

1. The old actors don't have the time or don't want to come back
2. Kid's won't remember them so a new actor is cast

Either way, we've got new actors in a show that deals with alternate realities.

Well probably for the kids that were like 5 when Kuuga started. Then you have the kids that are 5 years old now.

The first group might remember Kuuga and then gradually grow out of it.

The kids today might remember only as far back as kabuto
