I always just figured they both attacked each other as a "You go, I go" sort of ending.

^ This. The whole scene had that "if we go down, we'll go down together" vibe.

Aaaanyway, Decade. It's shaping up to be more of an AU where the other seasons are just one magical dimension shift away than a continuation of them all in one logical timeline, so any dead Rider may as well show up alive any time. And Uchi and Hide are the kind of toku nerds who would just pounce on the opportunity to come back if invited, so we could totally get a cameo from the Hoppers (or at least voice-overs if they only get an in-suit scene).

that's a bit of a disappointment since I was really excited when I heard that he'll be gaining a new form where his armor resembles that of the rider instead of actually turning into the rider.

It saves a lot of money to just reuse the old suits, but its actually better if Decade transform to riders that look similar to previous riders instead of identically alike.

I await the movie wherein Decade dualwields the RideBooker in Sword Form, and the sword of whatever Rider he is at the time. Extra points for multiple form changes during the same fight.
