Did I just blow you mind? XD

I really have no way of connecting Super Sentai and Kamen Rider to the same world but dont you feel like they should be? There like brothers....

So, anyone know what's up with Decade only running 30 episodes?

I'm guessing what you are referring to was the rumor about Decade getting split into 2 season or however that went, which makes no sense why they would do that. I'm sure it's going to be around the 48-50 mark.

The same rumor came out about Kiva last year. Along with the Rumor Kiva would end prematurely and Den-O would take over.

I'm sure the interview is referencing something else; like the past team ups last untill 30 and then Decade's true story begins, or something along those lines.

Maybe he meant only 30 episode before the natural order is restored and all the Riders are back to normal! THATS THE ONLY THING HE COULD OF MEANT! XD

I'm more disturbed over the rumor that Hibiki will be a girl. Really Toei? I know you guys try to ignore that season but have you looked at that outfit?

Some other Bandai-backed properties have used this production style in the past few years, the anime Code Geass and Gundam 00. The idea is that you avoid having a horrible slump in episode quality toward the end of the show by letting the production team have a break.

The idea was developed to address the fact that both Gundam SEED series developed tremendous production issues toward the middle-end of the shows because the staff couldn't keep up with weekly pace despite having a head start. In the case of GSD it arguably stamped out a lot of the commercial viability of SEED because people hated the second half of the show so much.

That said, I can't think of why Bandai would want to push this production style on Toei for Kamen Rider, and I hope Decade isn't produced this way. Both Gundam 00 S2 and Geass R2 were significantly less popular than their initial counterparts because people had time to get tired of the property, and creators clearly lost momentum over the break.

It's a production style that sounds good on paper and then just doesn't seem to work, even for production staffs that are otherwise talented and well-established.
