I've just finished rewatching Blade...
Why did no one ever think about unsealing Shima after Mutsuki's Ace card was purified? Mutsuki even cried about the sacrifices and was shown to believe that it'd be possible to live alongside Undead... yet no one even thought about releasing Shima before episode 48... And, in the ending, after the Battle fight restarted, they all apparently forgot to release him again too.
Also, what was up with Kenzaki just running away at the end? In my first watch, I remember thinking that they'd be forced to fight if they stayed close... However, looking at it again, Undeads throughout the entire series were shown to get along just fine, without feeling uncontrollable urges to fight each other. Joker was an exception, but Hajime was able to control that with the 13 cards, and Kenzaki also had 13 cards... Presumably, they wouldn't even need to use their powers again... so the situation couldn't get any worse, considering how it only worsened previously when they fought with Joker or Joker-like powers.
