Kamen Rider Blade: Shuffle (RPG Thread)

Ocean City. A Festive resort town located on an island nation in the Pacific Ocean. Each year, this resort town receives an average of 500+ tourists looking to get away from it all. Some going along as a couple, some coming in as a family looking for quality time together. Others go in to have a good time and admire the beautiful bodies lining the beachfront, as well as the spacious pools the hotels provide in their respective lots. One would think that it would be the last place to have an ongoing war.

However, that is true in this case, for the war occurring in the shadows of Ocean City is between the Humans and the Undead. In order to combat the Undead, two opposing groups developed Rider Systems to defeat and round up the Undead causing chaos in the city, putting them at odds with each other as well. Amidst this war, a lone figure looks on in the shadows as well, waiting for the right time to strike...

Along the roads winding about in the city, A motorcycle with the "Clubs" design on the front sprinted along at top speed, on top of it an attractive young woman gunning the engine. Though the safety helmet covered most of her face, one can see the pink bangs and the red-orange eyes from behind the visor, focused as ever on the road ahead.

Undead is Category 2 of Spades, also known as Slash Lizard. Better prepare for a throwdown as soon as I get there, the young woman, known as Natsu Mizugiwa, thought to herself as she continued to race to the scene. Knowing full well that the Leangle Buckle is strapped to her waist, with the Category Ace of Clubs inside and ready, she slides open the buckle, revealing a gold "Clubs" Symbol.

[OPEN UP]

At once, a lavender-colored projection with a spider in the middle appeared before Natsu's path, allowing her to transform into Leangle as she sped through it. Without slowing down, Natsu turned a corner as she continued to head for the site of the Undead attack.

 

[Kaji Motomiya]

"Natsu-chan, be careful," said a voice within Leangle's helmet. It was a com-link that was connected to the side of her helmet. "The Green Clover you are driving is still within its testing stages. I haven't had the time to fully analyze the flaws with its Rouse Synchronization system that allows it to activate upon certain Rouse Cards." On the other side of the com-link was a blue-haired man with his hair over his left eye. "Gunther-san and Lucas-san will follow shortly. Until then, proceed with caution. Undead of the lower Category are often with stronger Undead to make up for its lack of strength."

He looked at the computer screen in front of him. The picture of the Lizard Undead appeared on the screen, turning like a digital specimen. "The Lizard Undead is armed with a sword. Its ability is accurate and strong slashing attacks. Other than that, it's nothing to-" The sound of his Undead Searcher rang, and the man slid his rolling chair to it, tapping away. "Natsu-chan, I was correct. A second Undead is nearby the attack site. I will send you the details once I can completely analyze what this Undead is. For now, stay on your guard and proceed with caution."

Damn Undead, they ruined everything Ryo thinks as he speeds across the deserted high ways in search of Undead to hunt. For whatever reason, he was itching for a fight he didn't bother telling his partners where he was going no matter, Ryo preferred to hunt alone. He was eager, eager to try out the full capabilities.

Ryo stopped in his tracks, he could...sense them close by he couldn't explain it but he knew they were close. He turns the corner and sees Leangle fighting the Lizard Undead. Ryo grins underneath his helmet removing it he would approach the two fighting, his grin turns into a frown "Damned Undead! You ruined everything!" He says placing the Glaive buckle onto his waist "HENSHIN!" he cries pushing it open with this thumb

Open Up!

Would be announed, a large holographic picture of the Change Cerberus card would appear, moving towards Ryo's body and changing him into Glaive. Ryo charges towards the Undead, giving him a swift kick to the side then struck him twice with his sword "Leangle...don't get in my way. Best to let the professionals hand this" Ryo says

Meanwhile, at one of the cafes inside the myriad of hotels that dotted Ocean City, a blue haired, blue eyed young woman with a rather cold expression on her face was at work serving orders to patrons, wearing the cute, but revealing uniform she was provided. Tch...stupid Natsu...had to run off suddenly and now I'm stuck doing her share of the work...I got enough on my plate as is...
She thought harshly, thinking of her "other" services she provided to patrons.

No one approached her yet this shift, thankfully, but she knew it was only a matter of time. I'd rather be trying out this deck thing I got...but Mr. No-Name won't let me fight unless he tells me it's "right" to...tch...whatever... Wishing very much that she was elsewhere, Negu Moriyama continued on with her work, noticing the perverted stares of some of the patrons...

Natsu, who had gotten to the scene first, began to engage Slash Lizard in combat. Knowing full well that Slash Lizard would utilize its bladed tail in combat, she brought out the Leangle Rouzer -- a long polearm weapon -- and started to slash away at the Lizard undead. Knowing that the Undead is defenseless against her, Natsu prepared to pull out her Category 5 and 6 of Clubs cards, attempting to finish the fight and go back to work so as not to keep her co-worker waiting. However, it was at that moment that a gold-armored warrior appeared and kicked the Lizard Undead back, turning back to her with a simple statement:

"Leangle...don't get in my way. Best to let the professionals hand this."

Tch...damn you, Glaive. Always butting into my fights... Natsu gritted her teeth under her helmet. Without hesitation, she jabbed her Leangle Rouzer at Glaive, forcing him away from the Lizard Undead in order to finish it off. Before she could, however, lightning bolts suddenly struck her square on, causing her to fall to the ground as sparks flew from her armor. "D'AGH!" Natsu yelped, pushing herself up as she noticed another Undead approach: the Deer Undead. "Category six of Spades: Deer Undead. You never seem to be wrong about these things, Jounouchi-kun," Natsu hissed under her breath, rushing in to battle the Deer Undead as well.

 

[Kaji Motomiya]

"Natsu-chan!" the man named Jounouchi exclaimed as he stood up from his chair. The sound of fighting could be heard from his com-link, and he looked at his Undead Searcher. The symbol of Spades and the number 6 next to it was on the grid, as well as the symbol of Clubs. One that simply said "A" was among the three. "The Glaive Faction is there as well," he said to himself and switched the com-link to another receiver. "Gunther-san, where is your location?" He returned to the Undead Searcher grid and looked at it. "Natsu and someone from the Glaive Faction were ambushed by another Undead other than the current attacking one. Coordinates Theta-0237, near the casino. Proceed with caution. I will try to contact Lucas-san next."

As he disconnecting the link, he looked at his computer, clicking on the next Undead that had appeared. "Category 6, Suit of Spades, Deer Undead, AKA Lightning Deer" was on the screen as the Undead spun on his screen. "Natsu-chan, be careful. The Deer Undead can produce massive amounts of electricity and apply it to its blows." He tapped on the keyboard, and more information appeared. "By itself, its body can act as a conductor for electricity as a passive ability. Await for Gunther's arrival to attack from a distance."

By the time Jounouchi had contacted him, Gunther was already on the road. However with the tip that both Undead, Natsu, and now Glaive were at the casino, Gunther wanted even more to get to his comrade. He sped up on his Red Rhombus, quickly placing the Garren buckle around his waist. At times like these, Gun kept the Category Ace card inside the buckle.

"Henshin!"

Pulling on the lever on the right side of the buckle, the Ace Card turned over, revealing a diamond over a green background.

[TURN UP]

A blue projection with the image of a stag beetle, shot out from the belt, and as soon as Gunther drove through it, he was in the Garren armor.

"Jounouchi, I'm almost at the location. I'm engaging Spade Six briefly, and then going to take care of Spade Two before Glaive has a chance to seal him. Gunther out."

He revved the throttle and sped up, eager to help his team mate, and eventually take down the two Undead. Speeding as fast as he could, he eventually came to the location. With careful timing and precision, Gunther took his rouser and aimed it at the deer, firing off a few shots as he sped on by. Parking his bike, he rushed into the fight passing Natsu and giving a little nod. He then took aim at the lizard Undead and began to fire while running towards the Category Two of Spades.

Within one of the fancier casino's that dominated Ocean Cities skyline, a young man sat at the bar. His deep red hair and piercing emerald eyes were an odd and startling combination, causing anyone that approached him to pause for a moment. As a waitress set down another whiskey, it was obvious she was hoping for some 'action' with the mysterious customer.

Aeron Kage glanced only briefly at the woman, disinterested in her attempts to join him that evening. As he raised the glass to his lips to take a sip, images flashed though his mind. For a moment he paused and glanced upwards, though it would appear he was intrigued by the fan whirling above his head.

"So spade's 2 and 6 have shown themselves, Lizard and Deer." He thought calmly, frowning slightly as the waitress returned giggling in a manner that always annoyed him about these humans. She was either drunk, which was unlikely; or had been dared by co-workers to request something to him.

"Excuse me sir but *giggle* would you like to-"

Aeron cut her off as he silently stood up and pressed a generous amount of money into her hands. Without answering her Aeron calmly downed the last of his whiskey and left the casino. More images were flashing through his mind. He could see them clearly and yet they were blurred by the humans.

As he mounted his motorcycle and fastened his helmet, Aeron smirked underneath. Riding off he thought "So even the Ace's have joined the battle fight... a pity the humans use them so." For a brief moment he looked at the card in his hand and let out a laugh. "Of course... I use him so as well."

With a simple thought a strange belt appeared around his waist and he uttered the phrase that he'd picked up from the humans during an earlier encounter.

"Henshin"

Sliding the card, Change Mantis, through the belt caused a brief energy to gather around him as it announced CHANGE. As it faded his bike had changed as well, becoming the Shadow Chaser and Aeron was now Chalice. "What was the term the humans called each other?" He wondered a moment "Oh yes... a Kamen Rider... that would make me... Kamen Rider Chalice?" He repeated the name as he parked out of sight of the battle and began to observe the humans fighting the two undead.

(OOC: Aeron should be out of scanner range and he was at a random casino... I just decided to have some fun with the waitress, a random NPC.

Off to work so I'll be back in 7 hours or so.)

Jounouchi nodded and slid his chair back from the countless monitors in his hotel room. A few computer towers, some monitors, keyboards, and mice (the computer object, mind you), his room was like a lab! He sighed and stretched out his arms, letting out a yawn. "The Undead...they appeared not so long ago," he said to himself, recalling the events as he looked up at the ceiling fan that began to turn. "I do not know why we called them that, but maybe if we could research them a little more..." He looked at the picture on the side. It was him and an older man, smiling and laughing with their hands up in a "peace sign." "Matsuda-kun..."

"Jounouchi-kun," said Matsuda a month ago, "with the rise of the Undead, I've manage to solve something."

"Eh?" Jounouchi replied, looking at a suit case in front of him.

"Go ahead. Open it."

Jounouchi hesitated. He slowly placed his hand on the suit case and opened it up. It was a belt-like object with a card next to it. The card had a blue beetle and the symbol of Spade on it. It also had the word "Change" on the bottom and the letter "A" on the upper left corner. "Change...A...Matsuda-kun, what is this?"

"The solution to the Undead," Matsuda replied. "Only with the power of the Undead can we defeat them and accurately research them. My findings indicate that by putting them into these," he lifted up a deck of cards, "can we seal them and harness their power. However..." He stood up and stretched his arms out. "I can not battle them in my age."

"You're not that old, Matsuda-kun," Jounouchi commented, rubbing his cheek. "Did the boy calling you 'oji-san' really get to you?" The two laughed, and they smiled, sitting back down. "I can understand what you wish to ask me...but...

"I have to politely decline."

Jounouchi looked up at the ceiling fan and gave a deep sigh, putting the picture face down. "Matsuda-kun...where did you go..."

 

[Gankun]

Aizawa was relaxing at the beach when the sudden screaming of people woke him. He sensed the pressence of the Undead. He rose up and stretched observing the human's reactions to the creature. Are all humans this cowardly, they're only lower level undead. Aizawa looked by as the riders drove in. So these are the special Kamen Riders.

Aizawa walked against the waves of people rushing in panic. He stopped at a nearby cafe and sat outside watching the fight. They are of the same race, yet the two riders quarrel. If humanity can't unite together then how will they ever win. He took a sip of the coffee on the table that was left there when the pandemonium began. Aizawa decided to watch the battle styles of the Riders, it's good to learn their weaknesses before they come after me.
