Kain

Lurker
It was late a night, like around midnight or something, Lucas wasnt exactly sure since someone from B.O.A.R.D kicked his ass out of bed and told him he had a job to do, or at least thats what he was pretty sure they said, after all his grasp of the Japanese was pretty damn crappy. Either way it ended with him being pushed out the door in his boxers and a shirt and falling on the Blue Spader before he henshined and sped off into the night.

"Damn B.O.A.R.D lackies, I was having a nice dream and it got interrupted by yelling Japanese guys just because some pissed off monster popped up outside of the city. Akane has skill, she probably could have taken it on by herself just fine but nooooooooooooooo they gotta barge in and throw me out into the cold!!!!" he muttered angrily as he followed the Blue Spader's Undead tracker to where the undead was wreaking havoc. "They could have at least let me put some damn pants on!!!!!!!!" he yelled as he sped out of town.

It was in a forested area that the large, ugly and considerably flabby Boar Undead was attacking, as well as snacking on a few unlucky squirrels that happened to be running by.

"Hey fatso!!!! I was forced out of bed because of you and im pretty freakin pissed off, so get ready to be sliced into pork chops!!!!!!!!!!" he yelled as he rode toward the undead on the Blue Spader while he swung his rouzer around wildly.

Despite on how late it was, Leiko Kanamori wasn't asleep. In fact, she was on her last hour at her job, despite having to go to school the next day. That's just how things were since her parents were killed by some strange squid monster. She was having second thoughts on her job, though. Leiko originally wanted to get into modeling because she thought it would have been easy. All she had to do was smile and look pretty and the cash would flow in. She thought a maid cafe job would be similar, but, boy, was she ever wrong. So now here she was, in some frilly, revealing maid outfit serving randy old men who tried to cop a feel when they had the chance.

Why did I take this job?! Stupid, stupid Leiko! Leiko tried to put on her best fake smile as she served some middle-aged salaryman. "Would master like some more tea?" She asked, maintaining the atmosphere that the place brought. The man nodded, giving Leiko a sort of depraved look. The girl tried to hold back her disgust and started filling the man's cup, adding some extra milk when it was asked for. Lying to get this job wasn't worth it! But it's better than living out on the street... Leiko had indeed lied about her age to get this job. She was going to be 18 in a month's time anyway, so what was the harm? After she finished serving the salaryman, she was called up to the entrance to greet some new arrivals, what looked like two overworked businesses men. Great. More perverts. She again put on her fake smile and greeted them, showing them to their seats. One of the men, however, wasn't exactly human...

Meanwhile, an attractive young woman with pink hair rode in the middle of the night, cursing underneath her motorcycle helmet as she rode along. Damn Undead sure have great timing... the young woman, named Akane, hissed, feeling the chill of the wind on her slender and seductive legs as she gunned the engine of her motorcycle -- the Red Rambass -- towards the coordinates given to her by a B.O.A.R.D. employee. Apparently, Akane, who pretty much slept in her lingerie, received the same rude awakening Lucas got when they reported an Undead sighting.

Upon reaching the site of the attack, Akane immediately stopped the Red Rambass a few feet short of the battle between Blade and the Undead, and hopped off of the motorcycle. Letting out a deep sigh, she quickly removed her helmet and pulled out the Garren Buckle and the Category Ace of Diamonds card from her B.O.A.R.D. jacket pocket, which was about the only covering she could grab before leaving. "Category 4 of Spades, Tackle Boar. Oh how you screw with our sleep patterns..." Akane muttered to herself in a poetic manner, inserting the Category ace card into the Garren buckle and putting it in front of her waist as a belt began to form around her waist. "Henshin!" she announced, pulling a lever on the side of the buckle and causing the panel on the buckle to flip over to a diamond symbol.

TURN UP

Within moments, a rectangular blue energy tablet with the Stag beetle symbol emerged from the buckle, which Akane ran through, forming the majestic red of the Garren armor. Not wasting any precious seconds, Akane quickly pulled out her Garren Rouzer and started firing at the Boar Undead, pushing it back quite a bit. "I give you negative ten points for skill, but plus three for effort, Lucas," she yelled to her partner jokingly, knowing that Lucas had a rather irregular training schedule, and had mostly relied on instinct when it came to fighting.

Tengo walked throughout the dark night, listening to the people he passed. He used this technique to scope out possible Undead. He didn't listen to their voices but to their thoughts, you could always tell an Undead from a human by their thoughts. Such a search could take many hours with little to no results, but Tengo had something other humans didn't. He didn't need to sleep.

Suddenly, a murderous thought slipped through, causing Tengo to stop in his tracks. Hmmm... an Undead is around here. I can't tell which, but it shouldn't matter. I'll seal him easily enough. Tengo turned to the direction of the mind, facing a maid cafe. Tengo turned and walked inside, a maid instantly approaching him.

"How may I serve you today, master."

"You could start by leaving me the hell alone. And don't call me master. You all will soon enough." Tengo didn't even look at her response and walked toward a desk, a slight sobbing coming from behind him. Tengo sat at a vacant seat, sitting motionless, listening. I can't tell which one is the Undead. Too many voices, most of which are... disgusting.

One could have called his training schedule irregular, but most just thought of it as what it really was: non-existant. Despite Lucas's various flaws, he seemed to have a decent amount of natural skill which with along with his short temper, made him a fairly effective fighter. "Screw skill!!!!!!!!!!" he yelled as he rammed the Blue Spader into the Boar Undead and just started vigorously attacking it with his Blade Rouzer. "I was having a real nice dream and then you had to pop up and screw it up!!!!!" he yelled to the undead, despite the fact he knew that he wouldnt get any response from it in any language he could understand, hell he was pretty sure the thing was too damn dumb to respond. For Lucas this was his strategy, while Akane tended to fight more strategically, he was just the opposite and mostly his battle plans were just "Beat the living **** out of it until we can seal it"

Leiko was starting to get the men their order when she saw Tengo come in and berate the maid that wanted to serve him. That maid was Ami Enomoto, Leiko's friend. Sobbing, Ami proceded to the back of the cafe, behind closed doors so her tears wouldn't upset any of the other customers. That idiot. Ami can be annoying, but he didn't have to treat her like that. Turning back to the two men, she put her fake smile on and continued serving them. "Forgive me. What would master and his friend want tonight?" One of the men, who was slightly balding, spoke up. "I'll have some coffee. My buddy, Okamura will have the same. Right, Okamura?" The other man, however, just stared at Leiko. This wasn't the stare of a pervert, but rather something different. It felt malicious, somehow. Leiko felt uneasy, but proceeded to jot down the order. "Please be patient, masters. I'll be back shortly." She then headed for the back to get the coffee, as well as to check on her friend. Reaching the back, she saw Ami wiping tears from her eyes.

"Don't worry, Leiko-chan. I must of did something to upset that man." Leiko shook her head. "No, that guy's just a douche." Ami immediately covered Leiko's mouth. "Please, Leiko-chan. Don't say things like that, especially so close to customers." Prying Ami's hand from her face, the black-haired girl asked something of her friend, still a little uneasy from the man's stare. "Ami, can you cover for the rest of my shift? I'm going to be off in a few minutes, anyway." Ami looked a little puzzled but nodded anyway. "Don't worry, I can take care of it." Leiko gave one final look out into the cafe and noticed that the man that stared at her was gone, with his friend still there. Going out an employee's exit, Leiko proceeded to her motorcycle, which looked a bit lavish for a girl with her salary. Upon reaching it, a sudden gust of ice and snow went through the employee parking lot, shocking Leiko. There was no call for snow tonight... The culprit, the man who stared at her earlier, looked at her from the other side of the parking lot and spoke in an unnatural voice. "Leangle..." The man then transformed into his true form, that of the Polar Undead. Seeing the true form of her foe, Leiko wasn't surprised anymore.

"Oh. You're one of those monsters. Category, what, 5 of clubs, the Polar Undead?" The Polar Undead looked irritated at Leiko's ignorance. "6...Category 6." Leiko just shrugged. "Whatever. You can't expect me to learn everything in my dad's reports this fast, can you?" She then produced a card from her maid outfit's bustier and the Leangle Buckle from a bag on her motorcycle. The Polar Undead shot a blast of ice and snow from it's mouth, which Leiko dodged by rolling to the side. Holding the Leangle Buckle around her lower stomach, Leiko inserted the Categry Ace card into it, which soon formed a belt around her body. Running towards the Undead, she slid her hand across the front of the belt, opening the center up and revealing a club symbol. "Henshin!"

OPEN UP

A rectangular wall of energy with a spider symbol shot from the belt, knocking the Undead off it's feet. The energy then enveloped the still running Leiko, covering her body with the Leangle armor. She then proceeded to jump and bring down a foot on the downed Undead, stomping it's chest. "I've been waiting to try this out again. And to take one of you things out." Leiko hissed as she kicked the Undead, who quickly got to his feet. She pulled out her Leangle Rouzer, twirling it over her head before striking a mocking pose. "Come on."

(OOC: Kain cleared the NPC.)

Tengo sat quietly at his seat, listening to the voices that filled his head. The Undead was there, and it wanted blood. The sight of a young girl walking in the distance caused him to break his concentration. Then, a man sitting at an adjacent table stood and left, seemingly turning in the direction of the girl.

Well, well. I guess the Undead's hungry. Maybe I should wait a moment until the thing's full. That should slow it down. Tengo waited a few moments before finally getting up from his seat and heading toward the door. At the door stood the smae girl he insulted when he came in. Though he shouldn't, a feeling him he had to.

"Hey... I'm sorry." Tengo left with an uneasy stomach. Hopefully he'd never have to do that again. Rounding a cornor to the parking lot, Tengo was surprised at what he saw. He expected an Undead, of course, but he also expected a dead body. Instead, he came across a green Rider pummeling the begeezus out of the Undead. Asessing the situation, Tengo came to the conclusion that the young girl had been an Undead who unknowingly stalked a Rider. The man had to be the Rider, seeing as how big and musclely he was. Though this would make fighting the Undead easier, facing the green figure would be tough.

Tengo pulled away his jacket, revealing a heart-shaped belt around his waist. His henshin would be different than the last Chalice, but it was a henshin anyway. Tengo placed his arms in an X shape, then snapped them into an L shape. "Henshin." Tengo's human shape fizzled away like water, leaving the Mantis Undead standing in his place. Chalice pulled his Chalice Arrow from his side and slowly walked toward the Undead. The Polar Undead turned and seemed to cower backward away from Chalice, but he didn't get far before the Chalice Arrow slashed across his chest. Chalice locked eyes with the green Rider but turned away and continued his onslaught.

Ami was taken aback by the man's apology and bowed him goodbye. "Come back soon, Master." With a smile on her face, she was thinking about telling Leiko that the man wasn't so bad but remembered that she left. I'll just tell her tomorrow. Little did she know that her friend was now locked in combat.

---------------------------------------

Leangle was surprised to see another rider show up. Great, another one of these guys had to show up! Which one is it? Is it Garren or Chalice that has the large heart on his face? Gah, who cares! He's in the way! Seeing Chalice pummel her target only infuriated the green rider as she took her Leangle Rouzer and slashed it across Chalice's back. "Don't get in my way! All the Undead are mine to seal!" Leangle shouted towards Chalice before being attacked by the Polar Undead who took this chance to strike. The Undead grabbed Leangle by the throat and was going to slam her into a car. A quick stab from her Rouzer to the Polar Undead's eyes prevented this and she immediately tackled it to the ground, stabbing it repeatedly with her Rouzer. Die, damn you! Die! Tears started to flow from behind Leangle's mask as she took out her pent up anger towards the Squid Undead on this monster.

Chalice was unnerved by the green Rider's attack, staggerring forward from the slash. His first instinct was to turn around and chop his head off, but he restrained himself. The Undead was distracted and so was the green one. It was time to kill two birds with one stone. Chalice reached into his Rouse holder and pulled out a card.

"You can't kill Undead if that's what you're trying to do. You have to break that belt of theirs... like this." Chalice pulled his Chalice Rouser from his belt and locked it onto his Arrow. Then, he swiped the card onto the Rouser.

CHOP

Energy began encircling his arrow, covering the entire arrow. Chalice slowly walked toward the duo, raising his charged weapon to the ready. With one single swipe, Chalice knocked both the Undead and the green Rider into the air. The Undead fell to the ground witha loud crash, bursting into flames. Chalice reached into his belt and pulled a blank card, side-tossong it onto the Undead. The Undead was sucked into the card with a greenish glow before being launched back into Chalice's hands. Looking at the card, Chalice sighed and scratched his head.

"A club class? Useless." Chalice turned to the green Rider and tossed the cord to him. Then, he turned and began walking away.

Leangle crashed down soon after the Polar Undead and saw the heart-based rider seal the Undead, and him tossing the card towards her after deciding it was useless to him. This made her even more infuriated, but she was in no condition to go after him. Bastard! You got the best of me this time, but I'm learning more each day. I'll take care of you and the others eventually. Leangle hissed under her helmet, picking up the Polar card and placed it in her Card holder. Seeing that he was far enough away, Leiko took out her Category Ace card, which canceled the transformation and put her back in her maid outfit.

She was about to mount her motorcycle and leave when something collided with her and knocked her to the ground. It was Ami, who heard the commotion outside and decided to check on things when she slipped on some ice and ran into her friend. "Ami...can you get off? My ribs are killing me..." Ami quickly got off, bowing in apology. "Oh, I'm sorry, Leiko-chan! I heard some loud noises and came running to check things out. You're hurt, are you alright? Where did all this snow and ice come from?" Leiko knew Ami wasn't the brightest bulb in the bunch so fooling her would be easy. "I fell down eariler. It's nothing serious. Oh, and about the snow...It drifted in." Ami tilted her head to one side, curious, but bought it. "Oh, okay! I have to finish my rounds. Have a safe trip home, Leiko-chan!" Getting back up, she ran back inside. Leiko got herself back up and hoped on her motorcycle, her ribs still aching. I hate lying to you, Ami, but it's for your own good. She started her motorcycle up and left the parking lot, towards her house.
