I really disliked that about this episode, actually (in what was otherwise a really great episode) Gai just marching up to Hyuuga and basically saying "tough titty, I want to be GokaiSilver." I'm willing to give Gai the benefit of the doubt because I've always liked him up to this point, but I don't want the show to make him do this again

I think that's the show's way of showing that Gai might be an idolizing fanboy, but he can stand his own ground and look back at his heroes straight in the eye.

I don't think that was a problem... Maybe Gai should have told him that he personally received those powers from three dead warriors and so he needed to fulfill their will, but otherwise it was fine. That is Gai's own power given to him by others in the first place. Giving it to someone else like that would be basically disregarding the will of Abarekiller, Dragonranger and Timefire.

However, like I said before, I really wasn't fond of Hyuuga just giving up of his own powers afterwards. A single Ranger Key will do much less than an actual extra warrior. Just giving up on his powers and letting someone else take them (someone else who already has a bunch of powers, even) makes no sense. There's no reason Gai needed to be "in his place" by that point.

Someone probably told the past warriors that the Gokaigers needed the powers of the past Sentai in order to be able to save the world. Otherwise I don't think Hyuuga would've given Gai the Kuro Kishi key.

It has been shown that the previous Sentai know about what the Gokaiger are doing, so it's a valid premise.

Also, even with his power, could KuroKishi still transform?

Also complaining about Hyuuga giving his Kuro Kishi key to Gai would probably be the same as the Goseigers not keeping their powers at the end of 199 Heroes.

And Logically, yes, if the Goseigers could transform then so should Hyuuga once he had got the Kuro Kishi key back.

Honestly, I thought he would transform into Kuro Kishi to at least assist for a short while once he got the key back, but oh well.

The Goseiger transformed when they did the same thing that Hyuuga did in this episode (The clip actually was shown in a special about the movie), so, yes, he could. Yet, he just stood there without doing anything afterwards and then just gave up his powers after the battle was over...

Even if Gai told Hyuga that, it still wouldn't be enough to convince him. Especially since Hyuga said he wouldn't trust the Earth with someone who has no confidence. Thus Gai has to be able to stand up for himself.

The Gokaigers have already obtained the full power of the Goseiger keys from the Goseigers after their team-up with them in the 199 Hero Battle Movie, so no need for Toei to have a Goseiger tribute episode, & Toei already had tributes of the 2000 shows of Gaoranger, Dekaranger, Magiranger, Gekiranger, & Shinkenger. So after the Boukenger tribute in episode 21, only Timeranger, Hurricanger, Abaranger, & (ugh) Go-Onger would be the only 2000 sentai shows left to do tributes on.

Also, Toei has done two tributes of the 1990's sentai shows of both Carranger & Gingaman, plus there's already rumors of GoRed coming back for the GoGoV tribute, & since the actor of Hyuuga has came back for the Gingaman tribute, they could easily have a Kakuranger tribute & easily bring him back, since he also played as Ninja Red. Not to mention that there's rumors of Vul-Panther coming back for the Sun Vulcan tribute episode.

What would be your opinions about it or opinions of possibly more tributes?

I doubt that we'll get Timeranger and Abaranger (as well as Zyuranger) tribute episodes, because, as far as the series is concern, they already obtained their Great Powers.
