Why do people keep saying the Carranger powers were useless?

Do you honestly see anything beneficial about Traffic Safety in regards to a bunch a Space Pirates who are hunting down sentai powers to rid the galaxy of an evil alien empire?

I can't say I'm surprised though -- while Urasawa did a good job on Carranger, he wrote some really rotten episodes of Abaranger, so I knew there was a chance the episode would seem closer to those.

Curious now, which eps. of Aba did he write (I know he wrote that ep with the baseball guy)?

6 -- When it's revealed inexplicably that Ranru used to be in an idol group.

10 -- You already mentioned this: the one with the baseball player, and the monster who gives people mushroom haircuts that...turn them greedy?

17 -- The one that makes a mockery out of Asuka's trauma from the war on Dino Earth. AKA the episode where a plant grows out of Sugishita's head.

21 -- That painful first episode with Yatsudenwani.

29 -- The super icky episode where Nakadai takes the child villain on a date.

45 -- The worst one of all, that New Year's episode that tried way too hard and failed harder.

Marvelous - 5.000.000
Joe- 4.000.000
Luka - 1.500.000
Ahim - 2.000.000
Don - 5.000

Ahim's bounty has always been higher than Luka's. They go in order:

Marvelous - Captain, rebel leader, survivor of another rebel force
Joe - Traitor
Ahim - Princess, technically queen of a planet under Zangyack control
Luka - Pirate
Don - Useless*

Looks like GokaiSilver will be somewhere between Luka and Don

Did they? Either way she's more politically powerful than Luka or Don, so her bounty is higher than theirs ...

EDIT: In episode 1, Joe says that if the Zangyack conquer earth it will become part of their empire, and Ahim says "Just like our planet." In episode 8, the Zangyack said Ahim's planet was destroyed, but their information isn't always accurate (like Marvelous supposedly being the last of the Red Pirates, when we now know that Basco was one too.) So, even if her planet has been destroyed it seems to still be under Zangyack command

Well wouldn't her bounty then also be higher than Marvelous or Joe's?

I mean Marvelous was just a rouge pirate and Joe was just an ex-member of their invasion brigade
